bed about 1am this morning and asleep by 1:30am. I actually hot up about 40 min ago and I thought I could do a quick cbi thing but then I realized that hey now, it?s Sat not the middle of the week. I went back to bed and tried to sleep but around 6:30am I got up out of bed and I?ve got an hour where I can do some stuff before work.

It?s our 6th wedding anniversary coming up Monday and Anne?s been, wanting to go to the Sawmill. So instead of spending this money on crap, I?d like to take us out to the Sawmill either Sunday night or Monday but I?ve got the Lodge meeting to go to and I think I?d like to use that $40 I have and spend it on my wife and I. That makes more sense to me. So I?m going to Shoppers Drug mart and pick up my test strips and come home. I?m not spending any money this weekend at all.

By this time next year, I hope to have a $1,000 bucks to fool around with. Buy my big toy for the year. We?d like to get an LCD or plasma tv and I?m thinking 50? but were waiting until the prices come down. Ideally what would be really nice is for Anne to get at that full pension money and where we can buy a condo and the tv with a PS3 so I can play with, after a hard stint of writing, settle down and have some fun. This March, Anne will be one year away from having full access from that money and if we can use it towards a mortgage on a condo, then fantastic. Keep our rent down and stabilized (more or less) the whole idea is to get away from this place and get our own. Even better if I can sell a novel and use that towards the condo itself.

I think Anne crawled into bed around 4am and that?s when I got up to use the bathroom and went back to bed. Weather wise, it?s ?22* out there and will probably drop to ?20* before I get ready for that long bus wait. It gets to my stop in like 10 minutes but the buses are moving slow due to the cold snap and all the snow we had last week. I usually like to get out there about ten min to the hour. The bus usually pulls over the manning bridge just about 9am. It?s almost as easy for me to walk; I?d be there about the time it pulls into the station.

So after work then, I?ll be going over to Shoppers get my test strips and home. If Anne doesn?t want a Sawmill then I might buy my Cd. Maybe. I know this week, I plan on going to the lodge so, I might want to think about spending some of that money for lodge night, as I will be going over to the lodge for Thursday night. I could see, Anne and I getting a Pizza and a bottle of wine for tonight that would be okay for our wedding anniversary. There are lots of options but at least our rent is paid up for the month.
