to bed about 3am and listened to a bit of Coast. I passed out about just after 3am and got woken up by the cats jumping on me about 6am and I got up to answer some email then the cbi. I crawled back into bed just before 7am and I couldn’t sleep from there. My wife was moving around to much and I got up to answer some more email and I tried going back to sleep about 9:30am. I slept from there until about 12:45pm. I think I got 7 hours sleep. Anne just went out to do a bottle run and I’ve got a wake me up coffee I’m enjoying.

Well my speaker system is working ok now. I was listening to a bunch of stuff, Old Bowie, Stones, Beatles, on You Tube. I even heard a cut off of David Byrne’s recent Cd the one I’d like to pick up but it won’t be today, possibly tomorrow. So that’s good news.

Looks like we might be moving this site over to Wordpress folks. I’m very disappointed with some of GL "features" or lack there of. They don’t handle anything automatically.

For instance the last ten stories/blog posts are not moved automatically and archiving sucks. I wanted to get something like, the last 10 stories, the last 10 comments, and an archiving feature like I had in Blogger. Personally I’d like to give GL a chance when they come out with the 2nd version coming out soon. Initially my website/Blog experience has been, Wordpress but I couldn’t get into the dashboard and Mark was no help at all. Then we went to PHP Nuke and I got lost in that. Then I went to Drupal and I got lost in that and then I found Blogger that worked the best but I still needed a website with a Blog attachment. That’s when I found Geek log and my friend Markus, willing to help me out. No I’m disappointed with GL but not without hope. It looks like I’, going to come home full circle and work with Wordpress. At least now I can get into the dashboard.

In about an hour I’ll be getting ready for work, lunch and the train in. At least the weather isn’t that bad out there. Not like it was last week. The Oilers will be playing in Vancouver and JT will have the hockey game on and then there’s wrestling tonight at 10:30pm, got to watch Raw. This will carry us up until 12:30 and we’re usually in bed by 3am..again. That’s my day today folk’s. Tomorrow I’ll be working on my story. I’m going to try and get it done for my first submission for January.
