to bed about 3am but even after the wine, I didn’t get to sleep until maybe 3:30am and the cats woke me up at 7 so I had a good3.5 hours sleep. I got up to do the cbi thing and stayed up listening to Big Audio Dynamite. Greatest hits. I like Mick Jones in BAD He’s got another band out Carbon Silicon. They’re pretty good as well and I’m considering getting their first CD if it’s out anywhere, Second Front. After that around 7:30am I went back to bed but sleep would come hard. I think I got 3 hours hard to tell.
But I’m up no having my first coffee.
Pretty nice day out there right now it’s –2 no windchill and it’s supposed to get up to a +2* this afternoon, +4* tomorrow. Not like the –28/34 a couple of weeks back. We could still get that again this month and this winter.
Markus and I are working to set up a contact icon of me but I want to get one of me in front of the fake fireplace where I work but since the water mains broke the office staff have had boxes and papers and crap all over the place. It looks like they are moving out.
I still don’t know what I’m going to do with my Compaq. I might work on it during the spring and see what I can salvage. I’d love to salvage all of those pictures and my diaries plus other items but I haven’t got $80 bucks to get that done and the streets are in pretty rough shape to get around anywhere.
Speaking of, which I don’t know how I’m going to get to the lodge tonight. I’m going to call Neil across the street. Or maybe Anne has some time left on her cell phone I can call from here. Ask him to pick me up at the bus stop outside so he doesn’t have to pull in. We’ve got snow ruts that are a foot deep out there. It’s hard to get a mini backhoe out here because most of them are all in use.
Anyway, not much going on for me this afternoon. I wanted to go over to
Chapters and I might still do that since I don’t have another story idea
brewing. I’m still letting "POS" settle right now before I get into it a bit
more. I might still get into it yet, hard to say because Anne is taking her
time out there. I might not get over to Chapters until Friday night after work.
So, I’m more or less done for today except the lodge meeting tonight.
