Sleep, sleep

I slept until 6am when I got up but I wanted to sleep a bit more. I got up at 8am to do the cbi thing and when I got back to bed, that sound again. Uh-oh: Hamster on the-lose. "Honey." We thought there were three out but just one roaming. Neither of us got fully back to sleep after that. So the morning sleep wise was a disaster. But I got 3 hours from last night and maybe 6 today, so I’m holding out no worse for ware. Even Coast was boring last night and they’ve got a couple of boring shows coming up this week so that sucks.

Not much recently going on in the world of sci fi, for me anyway. I can’t report on anything because nothing interests me out there. I like the books and all of course and the old shows. I caught a "glimpse," of "The league of extraordinary gentleman" last night and from what I’ve seen, I like it. We don’t have Tvo here in Canada but we have something called Personal video recorders or pvr’s. I think though in order to record you have to hook it up to a service, which is really cheesy I wouldn’t mind giving Battlestar Galactica a chance but it’s on at a time when I’m either working or sleeping.
Besides I’d rather write then watch TV anyway.

On my plate today, it’s off into work with my wife. Now that the kids are back another obstacle in our way. It’s only a minor one but that’s okay. I’ll go into work and we start OTH tonight and that’s going to be "fun". There’s an Oiler game on tonight and the Oilers better get into a winning streak or else they will find themselves out of the playoffs and I can see that happening in April. So we’re following the hockey game tonight and it’s an easy shift. Then home to watch Raw and 2 more sleeps until my operation Wednesday, That’s all for now.
