my wife

went into work a bit earlier then I did but I knew I’d meet her on the train platform. I waited patiently and sure enough she arrived. A bit of a misdirection got us against some kids on another car so we got off at Belvedere and onto the car we should have acquired in the first place. JT wasn’t there tonight and apparently has a week’s worth of work in Hinton. So, Don rode shotgun with me. We ended up doing CDIH and Tony said no disclaimer only for OTH. Good stuff. I ended up pulling in $680, which for a 3.5-hour shift is more then line hour. I left a bit later but I went over to Audrey’s books to look around to see what they had. Nothing I wanted immediately but I was too lazy to go all the way over to Chapters and probably not finding what I want anyway. So I ended up buying "Calculating God," Robert J Sawyer’s novel before "Mindscan." And an new author I haven’t read. Timothy Zhan "Night train to Rigle." I inquired about my Karen Traviss book but it wasn’t in, another week or two at the most. I was the stores last customer of the night and I went over to Tim’s to buy a small de cafĂ© and on the train home. I’m going to start hitting the used bookstores up the street next time I want anything downtown. I was inside no more then 10 min checking the Oilers/Wild game here at Rexall before Anne just walked in. I’m going to have a bit of lunch and do some more story work and go to bed early. I’ve had a tough week.
