I was in bed by 2:30am after a good writing session. I did about 1228 words but things got a little silly and I was getting tired so I think I’ll need to do some cutting before I go down this road. I slept until 4am when Anne came in and woke me. So I got 2hrs and I slept until 7am so I got another 3. I stayed up and read a bit more from “Gridlinked” even if I have to use reading glasses and a magnifying lens to read it. I can still read. I figure I can read 10 pages/day I’ll be done in just over a month.

So, this brings me to my next topic, calling Dr. M’s office so I can hear the reception pass the buck again only this time before I hang up with her, I’m going to get the phone number of the specialist and handle this myself. I’m really tired of my vision like this.

Sleep wise I got about maybe 5 hours and I stayed up answering some email and I read for awhile. I was backing bed by 7:30am but I couldn’t sleep. Another hour went by and I managed maybe 49 min before I heard some friggen City compressor or whatever the hell it is outside started making this steady thump every 2 seconds keeping me awake. I closed the window, which helped a bit and I managed maybe another hour, so I got maybe 7 hours of sleep. I’m alright and no worse for wear. At 1-m I’ll be calling Dr. M’s office.

Well the big news around her is the weather, which has been hovering well above 0* and today we should be around 9* maybe even 10 very nice for this time of year. So, other then going to use the pay phone and calling Dr. M’s office, it’s winding down the afternoon and then get ready for work.

My web support tells me that comments are now working abd the Capthca plug in has been installed. The only real main differences in the new version of GL are the improvement on the story editor and a few other back end things. They addressed one of my main concerns, which I appreciate. So I welcome comments from you folks so feel free to go nuts. I’ll try and answer as many as I can.

That is if I can get onto the site. I’m having time out issues all the time here. I’ve tried a dz times to log on. I don’t know what the problem is and it’s beginning to bug me. This server in California sucks. I don’t care how good Markus thinks it is if I can’t log onto my own site, it’s not good.

I just came back from the pay phone and all I got was the same thing. Dr. M relayed back to the secretary something more solid this time that Dr. U is probably deciding what to do another Yag or another procedure. I mentioned about hypnosis to the secretary and she’s never heard about it before in that way. In the meantime I have Dr. U’s office and I’m going to call her tomorrow. Dr. M’s office in my building where I work has my work number and I confirmed they have that on file so another week of wait and see.

Also, I still haven’t been able to log onto the server to access my web page. I’m writing this in the afternoon but who knows when I’ll be ready to post it? I wrote Markus back to let him know “Houston we have a problem!” Even my email is slow in responding today. I can access web sites as fast as usual I can still access my links from Blogger but I want to do this from my own website.
