we left out of her at 2pm while it was snowing but it wasn’t cold and there wasn’t any wind to speak of but we started off on the wrong foot. I won’t go into the details suffice to say we did get to Smitty’s for brunch. During brunch things were smoother over and we settled in to enjoy our meal. Walking back was a lot better and all the lights were n our favor as well. I just got in to see Billy Joel sing the anthem and the rest of Super Bowl 41. That was the first ever NFL game I ever sat completely through and I enjoyed it immensely. I liked the half time show with Prince doing an anthology of material and a marching band as back up on Prince’s signature logo “The artist” as his stage. The whole game was teaming with rain in Miami. I liked just about everything about the Super bowel but the ending. The winning team unlike the NHL doesn’t get a trophy like the Stanley Cup, where the winning players get their names engraved on the trophy and a Stanley Cup ring and a team pennant. Also at the end of a Stanley Cup game the player’s of both teams shake hands and then the trophy is presented to the Captain of the winning team. Then a tradition started by the Edmonton Oilers where the team hoists the Stanley cup and the team Captain gives the Stanley Cup to the players to hold skating around the rink. That’s called the Stanley Cup march. Then after everything is said and done another tradition started by the Edmonton Oilers is an on ice team photo with the Stanley Cup. None of this is evident when a team wins the Super Bowl. It’s not a bowel at all or a trophy. At least in baseball the winning team gets a pennant. Don’t get me wrong I liked the Super bowl and having them play it in a “neutral city” The CFL does that as well and I’d like to see the NHL do something like that. Say at an NHL all star game the winning conference gets to pick which NHL City that didn’t make the play off’s in their Conference vote on the City to host the Stanley Cup finale, something like that.

Writing wise I ended up completing 659 words on “F” so far and after I woke up and I did another 1031 last night before bed to put me at 1,658 words on the day and I’m going to try and close out the day with 2000 words. But that’ll have to be after supper seeing as we’ve been having our Sunday dinners around 9pm lately. Total work on “F” 34,946, I’m half way through my weekly goal and the week is just starting. Not bad. If I can get to 36km then I’d be 4k away for my weekly goal. I want to be at 40k by next Saturday, midnight. I’m well on my way and then some. If I can do 1500k Mon, Tues, Wed, Thu, Fri. that’d 7500K extra onto the possible 36k (USS) So, (USS) If I can maintain this goal I should be at 47k by Friday midnight. That leaves me with 3k for Saturday in which case I’d be ahead of the game by 1 week.
