very happy. I ended up with 2.111 words for Saturday. Not quite the 3k I was hoping to do. However I’m surprising myself tonight with a pretty good writing run for Saturday. I’m consolidating and merging some scenes and taking apart others. I think I can get the story down to 80 scenes and 100k and a good story in the process. The rough draft should be ready by the end of March.

I ended up with 1.659 words on the story so far today and I’m 45,505 words on the story. So I’m having a pretty good day.

earlier I ended up working on some ideas for my next novel. “MOF”, I got a murky premise down and some characters. I use letters to denote the first letter of a novel not to keep the title secret or anything only because the title could change before the book is ready for submission and the book is still a work in progress so anything can happen, since nobody owns a copywrite on a title. The title of the book I’m working on now is called “Foliage” or “F”, The next one I want to write is going to be called tentatively “Mechanics of faith.” or “MOF” for short. I suppose I should have made that clearer in the beginning under “My big plan for 2007”

My wife has been sleeping since brunch and I’m going to watch the Oiler game on about thirty minutes. In order for the Oilers to gain a playoff spot, The Wild and the Av’s need to lose some games and the Oilers need to win some games. With 6 points out of a playoff spot if the other teams keep inning and the Oilers keep losing and or winning right along with them, they aren’t going to get very far. The Oilers play Atlanta thrashers and this is the first time they’ve been here this year. I wonder what idiot created this imbalance of schedules or is this just a random program created to crank out a computer schedule every summer?

Speaking of “MOF” I reduced it down to a 100k as well and this is what I was working on before laying out some of the groundwork for the book. Or world building which I’m rather week on but getting better.

So this week, It’s work tomorrow and Raw. The I’m planning on working two back-to-back 7-hour shifts. Tues and Wednesday and taking Thursday off since were not doing the team bonuses anymore, outing it on hold and coming back to hockey in a couple of weeks. Then, I have lodge on Thursday and I want to work Friday afternoon/evening and on Sat to give me 29 hours. Also this week, I hope to be getting the money to pay Markus for my website. There’s also Valentines day this week and the Oilers are on the road playing in Boston and then Buffalo on Thur. If the Oilers are going to make a trade then they’ll do it on the road. Also on the 27^th is Mark Messier’s retirement jersey to the rafter’s night and I’m taking that night off. So this month is an action packed month, lots of stuff going on
