A laid back day yesterday |
|
no word from Markus yet weather he received the funds I sent him Saturday. I’ll wait a few days and say on Wednesday.
I’ll drop him a line. I had to raise the font here up to 12 pt. I resisted doing this for quite awhile but it’s a lot easier to read from this distance. To my wife it reds very sharp and black but to me it’s a dark gray.
Today is family day. Alberta the only Province in the country that gets it and I love it. It’s the last holiday of the winter and signifies, well to me anyway, that spring is just around the corner. March is winter run off and when everything thaws out though I’ve seen snow on the ground here until the end of March but by the 15th its usually all but gone and that’s only 4 weeks away.
I’ve been working on the outline for “S” today kind of raking a few days off from ”F” for now and I’ll resume on Tuesday and hopefully close out around 70k by next Saturday then down the home stretch for about the middle of March.
I also tried to get a Frapper “Where are we” map installed but the Div code won’t seem to work with my Geek log website. When I enter the code into the story editor (the only place it will fit) in the block and all it gives me is a block full of code. Strange.
I’ll be sure glad when my vision improves so I can start reading these books I’ve been buying. I want to continue reading Neal Asher’s Polity series before I go onto Spin, I also want to read Pandora’s Star by Peter F. Hamilton but I won’t be reading that until his sequel Judas unchained comes out in paperback.
SF Signal, my favorite Blog on the planet next to Robert J Sawyer and Keith Graham’s blog posted links to an interesting site for SF readers and writers. Called the “Oort-Cloud.” I’d like to post some of my recent published fiction to see how I measure up.
