Inflation

Anyway the so-called trade deadline came and went. That doesn’t mean players will be protected it’s just symbolic and lots of trades do get done this month. No word on Ryan Smyth yet.

Okay 2nd bit of news is we got a rental increase this morning. My wife goes into panic mode all the time. We’ve been hearing horror stories hoe rent has gone up something like 200-300% over the last few years. The rate increase takes place in June. We already had one in October. For a 2-bedroom apartment we’re now paying $710/month. It still – out to $355/month. Not to bad. There is Edmonton housing but there is such a long waiting list up to a year. And Edmonton housing (so I hear can’t confirm) has restrictions like how many pets you can have that sort of thing but I don’t know if that’s true or not. So, what this means is one more rental increase and we’re moving out of here. This has been the 2nd rental increase within the last 5 months and each time the rent has gone up by $70.

Last night I ended up taking a scene-by-scene breakdown’s of all the scene’s word count. I had to make some adjustments as well in the overall scene count now sitting at scene 41/80 but the thing is I’m down to 34k left. I’m running out of word count. So far I’ve done just the beginning and the first 20 scenes and there are some scenes in there that are top heavy at 4000 words. Other scenes in there are at less then 1000k. I’ve identified 3 heavy weight scenes I could trim and with a bit of work sculpt them into shorter segments. The scene that has 4k for instance I can make 3 scenes out of that. And the other two scenes I can split them up giving me an extra 4 scenes. Now it’s time to blog this and get as much work done in what I have left for “F”
