it was nice going in even though I was in a fowl mood. I had my coffee and Anne read me the paper. Rod Stewart was in town last night. Finally my turn Dr. M as nice as ever but like I expected the yag failed. It wasn’t the machine’s fault this time, it was basically the way my eyeball is shaped. He wants me to come in again in about another 6 weeks as he thinks there will be another contact lens available for me. The cl is basically used to help keep my eye steady. But beyond this, there’s another procedure where they go in by hand and manually remove the membrane with a tool. From what it sounds like it’s a tool. He’s never had to do it but I think the specialist has done it. I don’t know what the procedure is called but the door isn’t closed just yet. Next time I go in will be April 18th. However he did let more light in and I can see a bit better. Maybe a 10% improvement so that’s good news I might have to go in several more times yet before it gets better but for now, it’s a bit better and he’s not giving up on me. I also mentioned about medical hypnosis because of my wandering eye and he say’s thats not really the issue it’s the way my eyeball is shaped.

Anyway I’ve got the night off and I’ve been working at “F” and closing in on 80k and if all goes well, I should be finished “F” next weekend. Then it goes on the shelf for a while I prepare “S” but what I really need is a printer.

On our way home I stopped into Future shop to make a tour and took a look at the Satellite radio kits. Xm radio seems to be the best but they want $400 for it and to get a lifetime membership is an extra $275 over and above. That’s a lot of money to listen to hockey games. I also checked to see if any chance they might have the satellite radio in a cell phone but I think this is only from Telus direct through their Samsung A950.I also looked at Future Shops all in one printer scanner combo’s and they have some nice units for under $250. I checked out their 50” plasma TV’s as well, very impressive but still way beyond my budget. Then over to the laptops, nice models, I think the most expensive unit they have there is something like $1600 bucks. I think my next computer will be a laptop, easier to move. The laptops ended my tour and then home.

I tried to have a nap but that failed like everything else today. When Anne was out earlier downtown she went to Canada place and we found out that the tax center is open so next week Thursday before lodge night we are going to go and get our taxes done and file. Anne’s going to go into work and I’m going home have a nap and get ready to go to the lodge. But that’s next week. Speaking of, which is also my wife’s birthday on the 16th and we’ll be going out to Bonanza. I recall we used to have a Bonanza when my folks were here. Dad always liked their food but the facility closed and changed its name over the years. I thought Bonanza restaurants were a thing of the past here. Instead of the Sawmill this year, Anne wants me to take her to Bonanza. Sure why not?
