I was in bed by 1:30am but got woken up around 3am when Anne came in. It was hard to get back to sleep after that so I thought I might as well get up do some Blogging and feed the cats and go back to bed for 3 hours. Maybe get 4-5 hours of sleep total. But I’ve had a lot of sleep Thur/Fri and I’m okay. A 3hour nap will help me when I go back to bed.

Work went along nicely. We ended up doing acquisition again for CCSD. I had a slow start but picked it up having top total doing $350 and got a nice comment about my telephone voice and a $10 bonus for top total. After work I went over to Audrey’s and looked around and bought LE Modesitt jr. “Eternity Artifact.” Looks interesting. They were kind of week on anthologies, I think only one book but I wanted to get a stand-alone as well. I think I’ll special order. Save me a trip up Chapters.

After that I went over to Tim’s and got my regular decafe and met my lovely wife at Bay Station as she’s coming home. Once home I dug my book out and did my first roll up and got a “Please play again.” Sigh. Ahh, the Oiler game in progress, they were in Anaheim this evening as the end of the 2^nd period was coming to a close. They were down 4-1. Sigh. Looks like their 6^th strait loss. When they said Ryan Smyth was the heart and soul of the Oilers, they weren’t kidding. They ended up losing 5-1. Up next Sunday night in San Jose and that’s going to be their 7^th loss. Their record as far as I know is 7 strait losses and that occurred last year. Sunday night should be 8; next week in LA should be 9. They had a slim chance even after the trade but now none at all.

So, on tap for today is work this morning. At least it will be nice heading in about –3* and +6* on the way home, but I’ll stop in for a Tim’s breakfast sandwich and a decafe on the way home. I should be home about 2:45pm for the weekend, have a nap (if possible) and this afternoon evening break the 85k mark of “F” and news at eleven and some more writing. Take my gravel pill and pass out listening to Coast.

Speaking of “F” I don’t think I’ll get up to 100k. I think I’ll be wrapping the book up pretty soon possibly around 85-90k. I think I’ve got maybe 2-4 scenes left. I might have to break some scenes again. At the moment I’m at scene #60. According to Marshall 85-90K calls for 68 scenes. I might be able to squeeze in 64 scenes but that would call for an 80k novel according to Marshall. “F” might be 85-90K when it’s finished. At this hour, it’s 82k and it will most likely go to 90.
