I went into Audrey’s to try and place an order for one of the 4 SF anthologies but out of all 4 only one was a mass-market paperback. Or mpb, the rest were all Trade paperback. Kind of like a chafe book in size. I won’t buy Trade or HC. Other then that I went into work and it started snowing. Flurries. I got in about 4:20pm and got ready for the evening shift. The first half I ended up with $130 and the 2^nd half wasn’t much better pulling in $155 but I got top total, which earned me a $5 bonus. Also, I’m going in for Thursday and Friday afternoon as Anne convinced me to work the full afternoon shift.

Anne was home before me waiting for me to come in, trading stories about our day. How about this for the 1^st day of spring, we get snow. A disturbing story out of the news tonight we’ve been following lately: Tainted pet food. It seems that several cats had to be put down in the states and one here in Canada. We have 4 cats and we’d be devastated if anything happened to them. We’ve identified the bad cat food and the store where buy still has the #ID’d brands but we don’t buy the pricey stuff and we’re told what to look for. We’re hoping nothing happens. We love our cats. They’re our babies. If your reading this Keith, I hope your aware of the story.

When all said and done, I like my job. I can pause at my dialer and if I get an idea write it down. I get some of my best story ideas this way. I can get up to use the bathroom go get a candy bar or whatever and even go out and get a breath of fresh air if I want and nobody bugs me. When my vision clears and I have a good total I can get a couple of story read pages in as well. Why? It’s because I bank so good, and all this and I get a weekly pay cheaque as well. Not to shabby and when I get my vision back and a new printerm that’s what I’ll be doing.
