got into a global warming climate change debate over there on Keith Graham’s blog. Keith is a swell guy and I don’t want to go out and make any enemies because I have a difference of opinion then he does. I also suck at debating but Keith and J Alen Irwine are supporters of the global warming/climate change issue and that this current crisis/trend is man made. The data clearly shows the opposite. I’m the first one to say, I am not a climatologist or a scientist but neither are they but I’m not about to be ganged up on either, nor do I want to lose the camaraderie of I’ve enjoyed from these fine fella’s as well, over a difference of opinion. That said, I ended the great global warming debate before it got started. I left the “debate” with stating my opinion and that’s food enough. One last thing on this global warming issue before I put it to bed, I plan on writing an essay this summer and posting it in my “For what its worth section. Also on Coast tonight, the first hour Ray Spencer will comment on Global Warming. Coasts host George Noory shares the belief I do.

I went into work under very pleasant conditions. Weather wise it was very nice out there. I got in and nobody gave me a bad time about not coming in today. I explained about my insulin and next week, I’ll be getting another insulin pen so I can leave at the office. I had JT get my cheaque and I got my bonus on there and I wrote down my bank. I banked $1,663 this week, which isn’t bad for just part time hours..

I had a bad start with fat Bob there sitting in my whole shift chair for his half shift chair. I’m there every night, he shows up once in awhile. I like the monitor there because it’s darker and easier for me to read from. I still ended up beating him by $5 but at least I beat him. He used to be such a nice guy but now he’s one of those wanna-be  “I want to go to Iraq.” adventurers. I hope if he goes there, the insurgents get at him. He’s a big loud-mouthed fat guy. They can’t miss him he’s so fat. Sorry Bob, but you piss me off.

I was glad when he left. Good riddance. He got charged recently a few years ago in an illegal cigarette scam selling 2nd rate cigarettes at cut-rate prices. He was under investigation by the Feds for a long time selling smokes to employees. He almost got me involved in it but I played it smart.

So after work and my miserable $280 total I was glad JT let us out at 8:30pm as we were caking the OC all night. Usually I do well, but tonight I sucked. I headed outside to work my way up to my wife’s place of work to drop off my cheaque and home. After doing some work on the computer, I found it was 11pm and oh my God. She finally wandered in about 11:40pm. So she made me a nice lunch and we watched ET and about ready to go to bed soon.

Tonight’s the big game, in a way I hope the Av’s win so they can get closer to Calgary and knock them out of the playoffs, There is some good news out of all of this and that is, we get a pretty good draft pick during the off season. If the player can make training camp that is.

I’m still working on “S” and it’s getting interesting. I should be ready to write this April 15th. That’s all for now.

    Hey Jim!

It was great fun. Getting into a heated debate doesn't mean that I don't respect your opinions.

I have a feeing that none of us had any business arguing over science. We are spec-fic writers and have more than a little interest in science, but my schooling was originally in Electrical Engineering (of which I remember very little). I am a programmer. I am fairly well read, but it does not qualify me to have a definitive opinion.

We were mostly discussing attitudes about global warming rather than the science itself. I tried to legitimize the debate with the models and graphs from eu.org, but still, non of us are qualified to interpret the data.

I will make a few lighter posts and things will calm down, but don't hesitate to jump in if you disagree. I like a good shouting match and I'd hate to have you not participating.

Jim-I love to debate, and as long as people don't use the argument "Because I said so..." I'll listen to anyone's opinion.  You never would have changed my mind, but I certainly would have respected your right to believe what you believe.

So, don't be shy about debating with me...
