today's alright |

I went to bed right after ECW. Their last match was awesome. I listened to a bit of Coast open lines for an hour. I would have listened longer but I was getting drowsy and I turned the volume down and passed out. Add the almost 10 hours of sleep I had Friday and what I had overnight; I’m ready to go. I’ll leave out of here at 8:50 and head to the train then up the stairs to Tim’s grab myself a breakfast sandwich and coffee and head to the office. I don’t know if I’ll get the coffee that depends on my wait out here by the bus shelter. If there’s a strong windchill keeping me company while I’m waiting then no. The walk to the office is longer then the wait for the bus. But we’re talking under-5 minutes here. But 5 minutes with hands exposed holding a coffee in the bitter windchill is 5 minutes to long.
The weather channel was calling for a +11 today but this is modified by the hour. Right now they’ve modified the temperature to 0* with a windchill of –6*. For tomorrow they were calling for the same +11 but now they’re being more realistic calling for a +2/-4* still very cold for April, normally
it wasn’t bad outside waiting for the bus. Heading in was uneventful and I got my breakfast sandwich. I settled in to have coffee and listened to my tunes and we ended up doing WCS. I ended up with 2 credit cards and $655 but we ran out of numbers at 1:30pm and JT let us go for the rest of the afternoon, which was ok. I got in at 2:12pm much to my wife’s surprise. So she’s off over to the store to get her self a little treat and we’re going to have a nice supper.
I'm back.
It has warmed up there a bit to +3/-1 windchill. It’s just that the wind is pretty strong going at 31 mph. it’s the wind that does it.
So this afternoon I’m going to check on my blogs and post this and then work some more on C before supper and the last Oiler game of the season. If Denver can beat Nashville tonight at home and the Oilers can beat Calgary and win their last game of the year, then Denver has the last playoff spot and Calgary is out. That’s what I’m watching for tonight.
