again into bed by 3am. I like to listen to the “other news” George and Art talk about but last bight I wish I hadn’t. Art began to talk about the disappearance of honeybees from beehives lately. Art’s been talking about this for the past number of weeks. He quoted Einstein as saying that if all the bees were to vanish humanity and most mammals/animals would last about 4 years on this planet. A couple of theories have been floating around. Art dismissed cell phone activity. The other possibility is that the magnetic field of the planet has been compromised somehow. I think it’s due to global warming because some areas of the planet have been having spring a lot earlier then usual and the bees are off responding to that. That may seem silly but consider fifty years ago Doctors didn’t think smoking cigarettes would harm you either. I’m a skeptic of the current global warning scare as painted by Al Gore and David Suzuki. I’m not denying real climate change isn’t happening. It’s been doing that for millions of years. I am denying that the cause to this CO2 malarkey is purely anthropogenic as put forth by the IPCC. That’s what I’m a skeptic of. But IMO the bee’s sudden disappearance from their hives has more to do with global warming then anything else. The real truth to this whole global warming issues Gore’s, Keith’s, J’s mine, lies somewhere in the middle. Sure man has helped some of it along but not to the extent of the hockey stick scenario as the alarmists would have us believe, meanwhile the bees missing in action is somewhat disturbing.

That was only part of the reason that kept me awake after I got up to do the cbi thing. I had some other stuff going on as well thinking about an event in my past that I couldn’t shake off but that’s another story.

At the moment I’m enjoying my coffee as I’m about ready to go into work for this evening. I would really like to go in and put 2 afternoons in this week. Maybe Wednesday and Friday. This way I’ll have 29 hours in. That’s pretty decent amd will help me get that printer a little bit earlier.

Also last night I was trying to import some tracks onto my Mp3 player from my Musicmatch software using the USB cable. When I go into My Computer. occasionally it would show removable drive F and G but only for a brief instant. I really need the software for my Mp3 player but I can’t seem to find it anywhere in my office. Maybe it’s off pollinating earlier then usual.

Also, last night I got glimmer of an idea for another story., which I will write the rough draft of after I get C done. The new story won’t be ready to write until mid May. I still want to write “S” but I may have to rethink that. I know I need to update the WIP bars as well.

Speaking about my website Markus mentioned that the new Geek Log responded to some security issues as part of the new release sometime ago and Markus blocked the ,ru extension for me. He said last night that GL has a team of security experts monitoring 24/7 on security. Markus says security is so important to GL that this is probably why GL is week on graphics. Markus also added that Wordpress is 60 times more to be subject to security issues then GL and is one of the worst CMS for security issues out there so I’m not to worried. He also checked my log directories and not even a sniff of hacker activity but you know what they say about the best-laid plans of mice and men?

Weather wise, it doesn’t look too bad out there. I’ve got my window opened enjoying the air but it’s still a cooler air not really a mild breeze as Spring usually is this time of year here. It’s currently +7* but the wind has picked up to 20 knots. You still need a coat to go outside. Not a winter one but still a medium coat, not a windbreaker either. It’s not that warm. Anyway, time to post this and check out my blogs..
