Big day tomorrrow

I was in bed by 2am listening to Coast and asleep by 3am just after the news. There was a surprise news item that caught our attention that the City is working with the Oilers to build a new downtown arena. Of course this won’t be completed for another five years but the team needs a newer building. Rexall place is just too small and the City wants to do something with the land to revitalize the ares. They said something about how it will be fund with Casino money. How that’s going to work out, I have no idea.

I like the opening part of S but the middle is silly and the way the Word document is laid out and I can’t really correct it hindered by my vision and all. So I opened up a new document saved before the margin woes began and I’m going to rethink the rest of the book.

Also, I don’t think the WIP bars are working for me on my website. So I think I’ll be removing them off the front page using the space for affiliates and Archive month links. I’ve been wanting to redesign the website for awhile now by adding a new Template. But since I don’t know what’s going on with my vision and trying to clear up this capsular haze I’ve been having since last October, it’s hard to get stuff like this done. My vision isn’t deteriorating its just cataract like  I can still write and blog and for reading websites I just copy and paste into Word and raise and bold the font.

Tomorrow then it’s just a trip into the office at 1:30pm. I hope I don’t run into Rob or anyone on the way out because I probably won’t be out of there until 3pm. Right at the break no less, yeesh. Of any luck at all I’ll be in and out unseen. There are several things that could and or are going on. This may be just an overall evaluation and he might book me for another Yag. Or he might suggest the operation. If he says it’s very risky, then I don’t know. Or he might suggest we wait until the other contact lens is designed for my shape of eye. That could take weeks, months or years. Or I might have to end up paying for the contact lens out of my own pocket. I don’t see this as happening what with Alberta Health care covering the cost and all. They’d reimburse my expense but if I wanted to continue going in for treatment then fine but there’s not much more he can do for me. Short of what might be a risky operation. All operations have some element of risk in them. If he recommends me to go in for the operation then I might have to. So there are all kinds of things going on. The main thing though is the waiting.

This afternoon it’s into work on my own and home. I might catch some of the Flames/Detroit game. I’d say the Flames will be out in 5. In the finale I’d like to see a Sen’s/Canuck finale but not much chance that’s ever going to happen. Then a bit of lunch and maybe some more stuff on the arena plans, some writing, Coast and bed

Wednesday is a big day because we've got our letter's of assesment back from Revenue Canada. This means that right after we see my Doctor we head towards Alberta Health Care and file for our subsidy and maybe a bite to eat as well and home.

.
