Some day off |
|
i left out of here at about 11:15am and got to my train under windy but sunny skies. I picked up a cup of coffee to enjoy on the train on the way to Carona listening to my Mp3 player. I had a bit of a wait and I came upstairs to wait outside and I asked pedestrian what time it was, Just after 12 noon, so I hung out there for awhile and headed into the Baler Center. Rob got ahold of me all friendly like and I explained what was going on and he never gave me any flake over it. He said, “we’ll see you in tonight.” “Not tonight because of all the drops and the scans they do to my eyes. I’ll be out but tomorrow I’ll be in etc. He seemed happy with that, I still had about a 30 min wait but one if the Doctors office door was open and as I came off the elevator and my Doctors office closed I had a chat with the receptionist. Sure enough on cue I saw the Doctors office open and I went inside to reception and there was Dr. M greeting me. I had the eye drops looked at the eye chart and a brief wait later he came in shone the light in my eyes etc. He says they had trouble if I recall with the new machine and they’ve got it fine-tuned now and that if I’m okay with giving it one more try. He seems very confident this next time we’ll get it done but because they are all booked up, the earliest I can get it done is June 13 and it’s an afternoon appointment. If he’s confident we’ll get it done then, so be it. So I caught my train home and I got in just about 2pm.
I’m having a pretty good afternoon and I might even have a snooze a bit later today before hockey. The Ottawa/Sabers game I believe is on at 5pm and then following that is the Anaheim/Vancouver game. Good stuff.
