Last night was some night. My first ever book signing with Robert J Sawyer. He recognized me in the crowd and said Something like "Jim Shannon, thanks for coming by." I got him to sign my book and I got one of the others to take a photo of me with him behind the table but I realized after I've seen the photo, I smiled showing my rotten teeth. I'll wait until next time he comes here and I'll remember not to smile this time.
Also in the crowd out to see him was Minister Faust. I mentioned to him how his book was reviewed or about to in SFSingle the web address and he is or already looked. at it/ I had to double check and sure enough the book cover is on their book shelf at SFSignal.
After the book signing I took the train home and I was at Clairview just after 9pm. I watched the 2nd period of the Anahiem/Vancouver hickey game. The Canucks lost 3-2.
I'll try o get some pics up of the signing in thenext day or two.
