I’m in some considerable pain here with a broken tooth embedded into my gum. It’s 8:30 in the morning as I write this. It’s my lower left molar. Or what’s left of it. It’s also costing me sleep from the pain. I think I got maybe 2hours sleep. Anne gave me a Tylenol and that seemed to help around 11pm. Let me tell you I’m exhausted. I slept a bit on the couch. I try to go back to bed but I cant sleep.

This morning I wrote a page on Thelema. It wasn’t a work of scholar endeavor. I talk about God and my religious roots so far. This was just a history of sorts of Thelema and it’s main points and my path thus far in it.

Afternoon: every time I lied down my tooth would ache but even standing it still throbbed on me all night. I went to the couch and back again. Finally around 4am I got a bit of sleep. I think an hour and a half. Back to bed and I couldn’t sleep again. So back to the couch for an hour and a half or so, I did this about 3 times nut at least I could sleep a little. I think I might have got 5 hours. If I’m lucky, I can’t even recall when I did the cbi thing. Finally about 11am when my mouth felt better I managed to sleep until 1pm, in bed for maybe an hour and a half. Anne gave me another Tylenol and my mouth in the lower right corner is still numb but tolerable enough to eat something. I’ve got another one of I need it for later on. Usually these things last for a dew days and this is the first time on my right side. I get one or two of these things/year.

Since the weekend I haven’t been doing any work on F but if I feel up to it before Lodge tonight, then I will read a couple more scenes. I think the story is a great idea although some might think it’s just slightly above mediocre. There are many books that sell on the idea alone. My goal for this thing is to send it out before the end of the year. The usual drill, 3 sample chapters cover letter and in the mail. Tor/Ace/Daw. Or TAD. Of course everyone writing science fiction has the same aspirations as I do.

much to the boss at work JT should realize because I’m off its Thursday and I’ll be at my lodge meeting tonight. I’m really tired of BB and hopefully we’ll be off it tonight. Patience is wearing thin amongst my fellow employees over BB. We hate this campaign. But tonight it’s off to the lodge. I hope my tooth won’t be bothering me tonight but at the festive board I’m going to have myself a beer.

Our local greedy gouging PMF’s must give 1 year notice before they can evict anyone out of a suite to “Upgrade.” That means turning existing rental suites into condos so they can get more of a bang for their buck. That’s good news. The other good news is that a PMF can only raise the rent once per year. Now I don’t know if that’s a percentage of the rent or what? If that’s the case then, we’re going to be served with a rental increase notice Jan 1st.But at least our PMF cannot evict us without first a one year notice, so this is some relief at least.

Tonight it’s off to the lodge leaving out of here about 6:45 and there for 7pm even though we Tyle at 7:30. It should be an easy night since we have no initiations. There is no emergent meeting for May as well, which is good because this way I won’t be missing any time off. There’s no book signings no special events, nothing.

Actually, speaking of book signings in Robert J Sawyer’s blog yesterday he posted a photo of me in the crowd and pointed me out to one and all. Meeting Robert J Sawyer is one of the highlights of my life. An evening I’ll never forget.
