we got to bed around 2:45am listened to Coast for a while. I shut the show down just after the local news and passed out. I still have the swelling in my mouth but there’s been no pain thanks to those Tylenol pills Jeff gave me Friday night and I only took one of them Friday night and Saturday morning. That was it. Since then there was no need. I’ve been pain free since Friday night. I woke up around 6:45 to do the cbi thing. I had trouble sleeping for the past 40 minutes trying to get comfortable. I passed out shortly after 8am slept well until 11 or so. I woke up just around 1pm! I guess I needed the sleep.
Looks like a nice day out. Since our un season April the leaves are taking longer to bud on the trees. Usually everything would be all green out there but this year since our cold winter our spring is later then usual.
Last night local news at 11 put the kibosh on the Daryl Katz story. Two thirds of the Oilers investors group needs to have an expressed desire to sell. Right now nobody wants to sell. But if Daryl Katz is so concerned about the Oilers he can out his money where his mouth is and utilize some of that money towards a new arena. It’s estimated that the project could go as high as $500 million. I think by the time it gets built, we’re looking at close to $1B. At least we know where to solicit for private money.
I’m onto my first coffee of the day. After I post this I’m going to tackle another scene of F and get ready for work. This is the only time of the week. Lately that Anne rides the train into work with me as she starts her job from 3:30-9 so she leaves out of here by 2:45pm. Except for today, Monday. So since the only playoff game on tv is the Detroit and SJ game (Come on SJ) Detroit could wrap up their series tonight. It’s do or die for SJ tonight. However, this game starts at the same time I start work so I’ll be following this throughout the night. Now if I had a cell phone I could get the scores as they come in, in real time. But I’m not without entertainment because Raw is on tonight.
Anyway, that’s it from here today.
