I had a nice trip in, although a bit early getting into the office just before 1pm. Rob had me sit doing big taps and I ended up doing $945 for a 3 hour shift. Although Little James was a bit put off by me not utilizing the disclaimer but I went ahead anyways and just got within striking distance of a grand. I also got a $100 credit card as well. U took my insulin at the break and ate my sandwiches. For the first half we did ASB and I ended up doing just over $200 by break and a bit more ASB then we did Burn and I was struggling with the declaimer. Then I realized an old Heart & Strike trick, go in first and then use the disclaimer. I approved this with JT and he said fine. It worked pretty well but by 8:30 I was really played out. All in all today id did $1400. Of course that’s “cooking the books” but the amount was the same. That’s a $208 line hour. I was glad to get out of there and make my way to Carona station. I caught Diane out of the corner of my eye and avoided her. She even came out looking for me. No way. I sort of walked away from her thinking I didn’t see her. Sure enough I successfully avoided her and ended up walking home even though I could have taken the bus home without too much waiting. The bus went right by with her in it no doubt. I’m happily in love with my wife and I don’t want an old hag hanging on my-curtails. The other alternative is to take the late train but that gets me just inside time for Raw. That leaves Tues, Wed, Thur to leave at 9:30pm. I took a chance and left out of there at there for the 9:11pm train. That’s the one she’s on and I’m trying to avoid her.
It was kind of dragging this afternoon around 4pm nit I managed to get my 3 hours in for the afternoon and 4 in for tonight. That brings me 11 hours for this week so far. Tomorrow will be 18, Thursday 25 hours add Friday evening and Saturday gives me 31.5. Just the hours I need.
I’ve got a working title for the book. I’m calling it “The Deep Abyss”.about ten minutes ago I received my first mosquito bite of the season. I’m automatically thinking West Nile. That’s just what we need around here. I felt that bite as well, owe.
So, I’ve got a title for the novel at last. The deep Abyss. I’m a long way from preparing an outline but at least it’s getting there. At least I have a concept and a title. I kind of like the concept because there are no silly elements in the story.
This month has been chalk full of stuff. I had the RJS book signing and the lodge meeting. Add to that a rough week of toothache pain. Then we had cat trouble and that wasn’t any fun. I began working 31.5 hours and onto my 2nd week doing this then my haircut and that’s been it for May, so far.
June is also going to be interesting. I have the lodge meeting and the BBQ. Of course more work on F and TDA my upcoming novel project. I get a break for June but since I’ll be working as much as possible I’ll be obtaining things as well. I’ll be getting a cell phone and if Anne gets the pension money out I’ll be getting $300 from that plus $75 I want to get an external hard drive, Norton Ghost and the computer fixed up. Plus if I get that $150 week beginning mid June, I’ll be signing up for the SFBC. Not just the lodge and the BBQ but I’ll be having another Doctors appointment and hopefully this time, I’ll have my vision completed.
That’s all for now.
