no flack for missing my optional afternoon shift, can’t complain about that. I got through to Bell express vu and an operator clued me into the packages and services but I didn’t get the complete picture. Another call after work would have to fill in the gaps for me. Initially I was told that included as a new customer would be the set box included with the hook up and installation fee. This is a $10/month item. Bought out right is something like $250. Not to badly. The second box is $3/mpnth. Each box is PVR/HD ready and can store up to 80 hours of programming. I had ro call back to get more information. I had a slow start to the shift. The 2nd half came and went really fast and best I could do tonight was $295, dismal at best. First thing I did was went to call Bell and got more information. They have a $50 cable package, which includes 5 theme packs. Each theme pack or tp has between 8-10 channels in it. This package comes equipped with local programming including something 40 music stations, which I couldn’t care anything about. So included with the 5 tp are several commercial free and non-commercial free movie channels. So that’s an-extra 48-50 stations. We’ve got hundreds of stations now but most of these are music channels. I like it because we can get what we have now plus a little more for about the same price and we get the PVR and PPV, all this for $54/month. The PVR alone is worth the switch from Shaw alone. Bell needs a $50 credit and we can do that with a credit card or purchase the deposit from Fs or Visions. There’s only one small hitch that could go wrong. We need a S/E view. We face East as it is but we need to face S/E. The deal is we get the deposit from Fs and then call Bell to send somebody over. I suppose they have the dish and the tech guy tries to find us a signal. If the tech can get us the signal then we’re in business. If not they will credit us the $50.

Everything hinges on this. So, I’m going to explain this to Anne when she comes home. See what she thinks. We will still keep Shaw for our Internet and Bell for our TV. I like he idea f the PVR this way I can record TNA Impact wrestling and have it ready for Sunday and record Smackdown for Saturday night. I can watch Smackdown on the other TV. Anne can watch a week’s worth of her soaps, after its done we erase everything and start again. That’s only if we can get a signal. I’d move out of here just for that alone.

If everything works out ok this year, I’ll have my vision restored, Bell, my computer up and running, F ready to market, the hours for the medical plan, my teeth done and the 50” HD TV, the Printer scanner, cell phone and the apple Mca notebook I want, all by the end of the year. Also add to that a membership in the RA and Canadian Rite.

I have realistic expectations that F will be accepted for publication but not this year, if anything in the following year. That is in 2008. Speaking of F and my writing I’m budgeting 2-hours/day min, more of course on the weekends. My writing takes precedent over anything else. I mean other then the job and family. Family always comes first and writing second.

That’s all for now.
