    A nice day today.

this morning Anne and I were in bed watching the 1:30am South Park and after she left to do her thing I listened in on a bit of Coast. Sure enough the first caller wanted to talk about her Shadow People story. Yeesh. I turned the radio off and went to sleep. I still had this gentle throbbing toothache in the same location as the last one last month. It’s still there but not enough where I’ll need any Tylenol. I can feel a bump on my lower jaw. I can get all my teeth out this month if I wanted to but I would have a hefty bill to fork out. If I can hold on for June, July, August maybe even September and get my 31.5 hours in for the medical plan I’d have about 80% of my rotted teeth pulled.

I gathered all my things ready to head out there and my 9:05 came and took me to Clairview station. The train took me to Carona under a beautiful sunny morning. Two escalators up later I’m at Tim’s ordering my breakfast sandwich and a brief walk to the office. I was at my dialer and Pat wasn’t there. Good. James White my little midget friend was there to keep me company. I was having a pretty good shift 2nd sale was a credit card and I ended up getting 5 credit cards today even though my totals were’mt steller. Then it was brought to my attention that the only difference between Winnipeg All Star Baseball and Edmonton’s was the price of a family pack. Winnipeg’s was $35. Since we began I’ve been selling these family packs at $35 each. Just this afternoon I found to my horror, they’re $45. Uh-oh. JT said not to worry. It’s an honest mistake. I adjusted my pitch accordingly. Three of us including me had 5 credit cards and this was an excellent day for me. At $410 my total wasn’t stellar or anything. JT and Mile would take each credit card slip and put it in a box for a bonus draw $15, $10, and $5. None of us top credit card producers got any one of the bonuses, but it was a draw and fun. I walked across the parking lot with Mile and caught the train alone home and my bus waited for me and home. Anne was out on the balcony and I came to join her. Then after that I had a nap but couldn’t sleep very well. That’s for later.

my wife made us a nice bbq chicken breast with rice and veggie supper. We watched the news and the rain coming down outside. We need a decent shower. Anne went out to feed the birds and got soaked and w talked as she warmed up under the covers.

Tonight, I’m going to Blog this and back to work on F. I’m going to be at least the rest of this month working on the stats page for F. Then I’m going to get the Template and superimpose those stats over my F stat page. Then the real rewrite begins. Right now I need to compare my dialogue lines with my template dialogue lines, essentially my story over the template and that should be in July. The second rewrite should be in August. There are some mechanical aspects in need to fix but at least I know where they are in the story. RJS said it took him 19 rewrite changes to get “Mindscan” where he wanted it. “Mindscan” isn’t my Template. Like I said, my Template isn’t even a Canadian author. The whole idea of the template in the first place is to see how my work stacks up for pacing, dialogue and other stats. It’s my story but over the template. Dwight Swain talks about this in his book, “Techniques of a selling writer.” This is just so I get the basics of the art of novel writing down.

    That’s all for now.
