I was in bed at 1:30 this morning but couldn’t sleep so I listened to Coast talking about weird places around the world and concentrating on the Denver Airport and underground bases. Good stuff for a Tuesday night. We ended up in bed around 2:45am listen to the last bits of the show. I finally passed out about 3:15am and woke about 6am to do the cbi thing then back to bed. I think I got 3 hours there and I fell right back to sleep after that. I got up at various times to pee but I slept from when I went back to bed until about 11:45am. I had a good 8.5 hours of sleep. The only thing I got to do this afternoon is go to the pay phone and call Dr. M and see when I’m booked into the Hospital tomorrow for that laser eye treatment.

There might not be a lot science fiction movie wise to enjoy this summer. But sort of sf is and course Spiderman 3 and the Fantastic 4 “Rise of the Silver surfer.” And the best so far is the upcoming Die Hard movie. Add to that the possibility we could be getting our Satellite system installed this month, and the summer movie season is just underway so there’s a lot of summer left. That’s if I can get my vision restored tomorrow.

At 1pm I’m running over to the pay phone to call Dr. M to see about my time for tomorrow. It’s probably around 10am. Dr. M’s office scheduled me because I found the form to confirm this. Since they moved from our location at the end of April no doubt they took their phone number with them but I might have to make a directory assist call. Usually his office just calls my work number the day before (today) to confirm the time but his office has had several receptionists come and go there lately. Most likely when I go into the job this afternoon Joyce will have a memo waiting for me from Dr. M’s office. But I don’t want to take the chance something got lost in their move and I’ve got to wait another 2 months before I can book another yag. That’s if they can do anything for me at all. I’m skeptical the yag can after this the 3rd time tomorrow will be all it can do for me. Next step is an operation but I’ll go in tomorrow anyway. It’s an excuse for being off work for the day and if by chance however, remote I may think it be and the yag is successful, then there will be dancing in the streets. Dr. M’s office is opened at 1:pm this afternoon. Before I go, I’ll wake Anne up and take my 35 cents over and make a call. I’d probably be better off If I just  to the pay phone and call directory assist.

Anyway, Raw last night was awesome especialy the surprise ending. Is this the end of Vince? He created a lot of enemies over the course of his career. I thought he was going to say “Goodbye” and get in the limo and drive off. Imagine my surprise when he gets in the limo closes the door and the limo, explodes with Vince supposedly “Inside” What a shocker. Of course we know Vince isn’t really dead. He probably got inside a fireproof container built into the limo at the end of the show. The idea is to make it look like someone got to him. “Obviously murdered” bye one of his many enemies The thing is this is something the writing staff can’t work out of the show to bring him back because the limo “exploded” right after Vince closed the door. They could come up with something like,      “We installed emergency safety precautions into Vince’s limo protecting Vince and the driver from certain death. This measure was taken due to Vince’s appreciation night.”

        “I will be ruthless in my quest to find those responsible.”

Can you say hype for Vengeance? That’s all it really is of course. At least it helps the ratings but in the off chance Vince had the writers write him out of the show so he can retire has interesting ramifications. The announcers said something like this was the 733rd episode of Raw. But if Vince wrote himself out of the show as I suspect to let Shane take over the business this could be an interesting era in the WWE. Since Shane “owns” WCW he might even revert WWE back to WCW. That’d be an interesting move. So stay tuned for the fall out from last night to carry over into ECW and Smackdown. We might not need to wait until next Monday.

Onto more serious things Anne got up on her own saying how she’s going over to Superstore and I asked her if she could call Dr. Morgan’s office to confirm the appointment for me. She mumbled something how she would. Hopefully she’ll come back saying what time I’ll need to go in for tomorrow and saying also she got her ID and she booked a time to the bank. So if the yag is successful and she gets her ID today books the appointment for the bank for tomorrow and the yag is successful we go to the bank, I can get my computer over get the system and files restored and the scanner printer as well. The thing is I will still need more Ram and I will ask to identify the name speed and type of Ram. If I can do all that tomorrow, wow. Also last night Anne brought me her reward points. This was promising. It’s $75 bucks towards getting my computer fixed.

I don’t know where I’d be without Anne. These last 7 years have been filled with ups and downs but for the most part this is how I’d like to live my life. I love my wife and certainly the best thing that has ever happened to me was the day we met and I married her.
