An easy day |
|
it was June 19 this time last year but on a Monday night, the Edmonton Oilers were in a game 7 against the Carolina Hurricanes in a game 7. They lost 4-3 and came very close to winning the Stanley Cup. It was pretty amazing. Anne and I went into our respective jobs at 4:30pm. I hung around a bit earlier for the next train to avoid Rob. I walked into the office, no Rob and just said something to JT that we had family problems. No big deal. We did ASB Edmonton and I ended up with 3 credit cards. No bonuses at all. I also brought my reading into work. Currently reading, “Spin” even though I lost the graphic. Still not comfortable placing images html tags in the source code of blocks yet although I’m working on it. After work I sat around and read a bit for about 15 min and maybe 5 min waiting for the train, 10 minutes on the ten, 10 minutes waiting at Clairview, 20 minutes before the shift. 10 min at break 10 min going into work. I get about an hour and a half of bits and pieces of reading time in each day. Also, I read at my dialer for a bit. I’ll spend a few minutes there if I’m having a good night. The train had extra cars on the system this evening because of a concert of some kind at Rexall. I also decided that I’m going to put my 31.5 hours in next week and start fresh. But no lodge this week. Sorry. I got home just before 10pm and began working on F. I completed one scene and Anne came in just about 11pm. I watched the news waiting for supper and here I am.
Oh, also if you scroll down to near the bottom of the page, you'll see what I'm currently reading and what I plan on reading next. I finally got the Amazon images loaded properly. Easy when you move them into source code. Eventually these images and my blog rounds will be moved over to a static page under reading. I'll give notice when this is ready of course.
