I had a pretty good ride in. Uneventful just the way I like it. I got to Carona Station and several escalators later the beggars were loitering around the door opening the door for people soliciting for food. Yeesh, I can open the door on my own thank you. So I got my order and I headed across the back parking lot and into work. Mike was there and I asked if he had access to Brian’s office where my insulin was kept. He did and I took a shot and continued eating my sandwich. Great.

I had a slow start to the shift and by noon break I had something like $115. I was on par or better then most of the rest. After the break I did a lot better pulling in a $45 credit card for the credit card bonus draw. I lucked out again but I got a $10 bonus this week as it is. No bank bonus so every bit helps. Also we hit our target goal and ended up leaving a half hour early. I was happy to leave out of there, at 1:30pm and had Wayne (he’s the same age as me) from the front 20 keep me company to Rexall. I was really tired and drowsy on the way home. I had a brief wait there at Clairview for my bus enjoying the breeze (I could have easily just have walked home but I was tired) and I was enjoying my book too much. (Spin) Still reading while waiting in the bus before it left and I got home about 2:35pm. Anne must have left earlier but came in shortly annoyed because she dented her Italian garlic bread.  She said something about getting Chinese food. I had a nap and woke up about 5:10pm and she was gone when I woke up from my nap. I could have used another hour but I feel ok.

According to the designation I have the Compaq Presario AMD Semperon 3000 SR1500NX.  A bit of digging around for (Ram designation) on the net told me it uses PC 2700 DDR2 SDRAM. I’m having trouble locating a source locally. Ebay has laptop Ram but not much desktop. I think what I’m going to do just before Xmas after I pay my website and lodge dues is get a laptop and load it with Ram. This Xp machine was an entry-level machine for home use and slow as molasses. Those responsible for this were Windows Updates, min Ram (256) and Norton. It was all right once I had the computer up and running, 20 minutes later. So I’m going to use my vacation pay for a loaded Ram laptop and junk the Xp. For what I’m using my clunky desktop now for I can just as easily do on a nice Ram loaded laptop.

I’m hoping Anne is realizing I took my insulin later then normally this morning and that because I take a shot every 9 hours or so, that if we eat to early it could wreck my injection pacing. She’s probably got some other things going on. That’s ok with me.

Tonight I’m going to be working on F. Most likely all weekend as well. More later.  

Anne came in around 6:45pm with Chinese food. Chicken ball was great. Back to work on F.
