I read the latest update on Chris Benoit. Police say that they had trouble entering the home because of two German Shepard dogs but when they got inside to do a welfare check they found his wife bound by hands and feet wrapped in a towel lying on the floor. She had been strangled with a Bible beside her. Then they found his Son Daniel lying in his bed face down in the pillow with a bible by his bed also. Chris Benoit hung himself in the weight room in the basement from chord that belonged to a piece of weight lifting equipment. He probably killed his son later not wanting him to find his mother’s body feeling so bad for what he did then killed the boy in a sense of grief. Then later he hung himself in the basement. The whole incident took place from Friday night until the bodies were found Monday afternoon, very sad. I wonder what next week’s Raw will be like in a post absent Benoit world? By then more details would have emerged about this tragic incident. 

Enough of that, I’m just boiling some hot water from the kettle for my coffee tonight and getting ready to go off to work.

Well, I’m at the half way point of F’s first rewrite. At 92, 312 words, I’ve got room for another 7,588 words left to work with. From here on in I’ve got to choose my words more carefully. Even if I go over, I can still cut and trim after the 2nd half. If all goes well, the first rewrite should be completed by the end of July. At some pint in time I’m going to need a hard copy. This L5 is still a solid printer for what I need it for.

I got to work and met JT there sort of giving him a white lie (sorry JT) Anyway I got into the office all right meeting Greg outside. The first thing he mentioned to me was about Chris Benoit. That was the talk of the office. We did ASB Winnipeg and I ended up pulling in $231 and 2 credit cards. We’re calling Winnipeg and that meant out at 8:30pm. I tried calling Fs to ask about their Hp L5 ink and I think I might just go there tomorrow before work and get my coffee on the way in. If they have the toner then I’ll pick it up and install it when I get home. We got out at 8:30pm and I got the train with one of the new guys, from India that is going to evidently be the cadre for our Sunday shift. Also, things have changed for our July first day off. Were going in for Saturday and taking Sunday and Monday off. I like that better. July 1st we get off anyway and 2 days off back to back with pay. Plus we get to watch Raw as well, which is July 2nd, it being the 1st Raw back since Benoit’s death.

I’ve been home now for about 40 min. I tried calling Fs earlier to see if they have any 5L toner but it’s probably just as easy for me to go in on my way into work. I’ll get up at 9am do my writing and get a bit of lunch around 11am and then head to Fs at noon and then get my coffee and head into work.
