over the last couple of days, I’ve been pretty busing rounding up about a dozen stories in various forms of preparedness. At least in the rough draft stage on my hard drive here at home. Some were on old 3.5 floppy disks and this w/98 system has a floppy drive. That’s how old it is. At least 7 years old now.

Last night at work I spent some time using the call back phone at my dialer (once I had a decent total) and got a hold of Shaw tech support wanting a new email address for Google Addsense. I was on the phone for a good half hour. JT didn’t seem to mind. So I got the new email address set up. I ended up with a $75 credit card and that was half my total right there. I had 2nd highest in the room. I was going to work this week afternoons but Anne said not to worry. We have our rent for July ready and are up to date on most of our bills. Plus I get my cheaque today. Also I haven’t spent much of that $300 Anne gave me a couple of weeks ago. I still have coh: $214. I want to get my cell phone out of that. Anyway, I’m getting ahead of myself. Because we were calling Winnipeg we got out half an hour early and paid up to closing time at 9pm. I had the 2nd highest total again in the room last night. I hauled my butt over to Carona lrt and was joined by a couple people from the front 20. I got in at about 9:10pm and tried my new email address. It works fine. I signed up with Google Addsense and did a few other things before supper.

This afternoon at 3:30pm I’m going to go over to Fs to see what kind of a deal I can get on a cell phone. I’m looking for a pay as you go set up but something that I can use cell phone time for cheaper rates after 7pm. Also in that package, alarm, calculator and even a timer would be nice. Mp3 all right if the price is good. One of the guys at work, Mo has an external speaker on his phone so I’d want something like that, if I can get all that at Fs locally then great. So I’m heading out of here at 3:30pm with my cash and see what I can pick up out of the box.

Also this afternoon I received a Google Addsense notification that I already have a Google Account but that’s on another email address on another machine. Now I don’t want to abandon that email address, I just need to have it transferred onto this machine. I think that’s what I should have done last night. Addsense doesn’t have a change email address field for me in their accounts page. So rather then go about and go through all the hassle of getting Addsense to change my new address. I’d rather have the old one but make the switch over to this computer so the email address from the original Addsense is transferred over to this computer, if that makes sense.

Work on F has been temporarily suspended since Sunday, all though I plan on getting back to it on the weekend. It’s a “long weekend” for me.
