we were out on the balcony about 2am on this long weekend Friday night watching the rain and some lightning. I asked Anne what did she think about me taking Saturday off. Sure. So I’m having a rare Saturday off and a long weekend. So what if Rob doesn’t pay me the stat pay. I’ll be in Tuesday at 1pm for my afternoon shift. In the meantime I’m going to enjoy these 3days off.

This afternoon Anne is out doing her shopping buying beer and I have a rack of baby-back ribs for Raw on Monday night. We have rent money, groceries, Internet paid, most of our bills paid or nearly caught up, July’s bus pass etc. Plus, I have about $105 here Cash on hand. Good stuff.

I tried the alarm clock Greg set up for me and it’s nice and loud at 7am this morning as we are exploring more features of our new toys.

At the moment, I’m enjoying my first coffee its +19* out there. We’ve got beautiful weather out there for the weekend.

So, during these three days I’m going to make a real dent in F. I hope to have the first rewrite done by the end of July. I’ll have a hard copy of F by the middle of the month if not earlier.

Also this weekend is our annual lodge bbq currently going on now as I speak. Since joining the lodge 2002, I have yet to attend this function. Steaks on the Barbie are $5 bucks each. Sounds good. I’m sure Nathan or somebody could have given us a lift there. This is also a family event, even Anne could come but I only received notice just a few days ago. I’m sorry I’m missing this. I missed Fort Edmonton Park lodge night and the emergent meeting and now the BBQ. I’ll be back in September.
