July to all my American readers out there wherever you may be in the Blogsphere.  I’m up a bit early this morning doing the cbi thing but I’m going to crawl back into bed. Below is the stuff that happened Tuesday.

I met JT out front having a smoke with Mike and Don and I said how Anne wanted me to have a long weekend off. I mean in the last 7 years of being there I had one week off and that was in the hospital. Nothing was said. If I get my stat pay great if not so what? No big deal. I had a slow start to the evening but as soon as I began reading my book, the sales came. I used my cell phone at work for the first time calling Anne. I felt the vibration mode work well. I got drawn into a stupid argument with Paul W over ownership of the Toronto Maple Leafs. I said the hockey club is owned by the Ontario Pension fund. They also own the Air Canada Center and I even think the Toronto Raptors. Paul-W-Mr. no it all hockey challenging me because he didn’t’ know so he runs to JT. JT is one of the most knowledgeable sports people I know. JT's got a mind like a steel trap this guy.  He's not manager of our phone room for nothing. I don’t know how long Paul was out talking to JT but he (Paul)  returned all sorrowful and quiet like. It’s not a game with me to pull a one up man ship on people I work with but Paul has been challenging me on everything I say in conversation with other people. Lately he’s been really pissing me off. Now I’m not the brightest bulb in the sports knowledge world but when I make a statement I back it up. That felt good putting Paul in his place. At the same time I never came back with an “I told you so.” Either. Anyway, Anne called me just as I was ready to leave and walked me out towards Carona. It was a beautiful warm summer evening. I lost her heading to the lower concourse and in the tunnel. I picked up her signal again pulling out of the tunnel heading towards Stadium. We talked all the way home and off the bus and I met her outside talking away.

In between my writing (4 scenes today) Markus and I began working on refining my website. I still need to configure my desktop screen resolution to make the icons larger while still keeping the 1024 resolution. I also wanted to call Shaw tech support to reset my password from the email address I transferred last night but I’d be waiting on hold for 30 minutes. I’ve got other things to do. Also, I can do that latter this morning. I also got through tech support just after the news and my other email address has been reset.
