I got out of bed about 12:15pm feeling ok, got the coffee started and came in here to power up the computer. Took me about twenty minutes to get to my desktop. Setup keeps rolling over and over then Scandisk cuts in (normal for an improper shutdown) then the screen goes blank and then back to setup and Scandisk again, over and over. Finally after about the third or forth time, I’m back. But for how long, is hard to say. I need to address this problem before the Compaq problem. So, I’m putting 32.5 hours in beginning this week as of today.

We were in bed early listening to Coast. George Noory on for a rare Sunday night. George had Mellen-Thomas Benidict as his guest last night talking about NDE’s and science and technology in the future and other things. One of the things he said was that our earth could go the way of Mars in about 2000 years because our planets Magma is cooling down. When the magma cools down (and the magma plays a direct relationship on our magnetic field) earth’s magnetic field is wiped out. Our magnetic field is responsible for keeping out deadly cosmic rays and other things. Never mind friggen global warming.

On that comforting note I went to sleep and slept well for about 5:30 then in and out after that. I got up around 7am to do the cbi thing and went back to bed about 7:20am and I had an awkward sleep. It was more or less an in and out of sleep. I had this weird dream about an old friend of mine. Richard L. Last time I saw him was in 1983. So I was playing catch up with him. In this dream Richard ran into some money and wasted it away on drugs. That got him into trouble and a stint in jail (in my dream-in reality, for all I know Richard could be dead now) I woke up feeling fine and ready to take on the day.

I’m working on my first coffee here and recharging my cell phone. We’ve got the Samsung A645. It’s a cool phone and for $35/month we’ve got unlimited evenings and weekends. We can talk for as long as we want. The only thing is text messaging is expensive running at 15 cents/minute. We’ve got the basic ring tones
But I want to get some WWE ring tones. I like Dx or even Tripple H’s. Those are the only two I’m interested in.

The weather’s really weird out there. I don’t know what it want’s to do today. It’s overcast with dark clouds lingering around. We had a tornado in the Capital region touch down in Mayerthorp. But when we get these things they usually drop down in some farmer’s field or something like that. We’re concerned about Tornado’s especially now because this month July 31st marks the 20th anniversary of “Black Friday.” 1987. I was 34 years old when that sucker came through East Edmonton killing 21 people. It was the worst tragedy in our city in modern times.

Anyway, I’m going to Blog this and do a bit more work on F. Maybe I can get 2 scenes in before I have to head out of here. Maybe even finish the first rewrite by the end of this week. Wouldn’t that be nice? At Fs I want to get a package of blank Rw disks so I can burn a copy of F onto disk and take it into Staples to see how much it’s going to cost me to get a hard copy. 

The other thing tonight after work, I’m coming home and getting ready to watch Raw. I don’t know why Vince McMahon doesn’t release ECW as a 2-hour show like Raw and Smackdown? I find Raw is enough for me anyway and I’ll watch Smackdown until the news is on. I’ve missed ECW the past couple of Friday’s because I have to get up early on a Saturday morning.
