I'm back

God what  a week from hell that was. last Sunday night/monday morning is when things went from bad to worse. I had this W98 computer since Jan 2001. I ran it for about 5 years and about 2005 I got the Wme blue screen of death. The guy I bought the computer (New at the time) from went out of his way to service the computer for me saving what he could and even installed a new os for me. He even bought me a free monitor as well. Well an older  but more stable OS W98se. Now I'm not a tech guy but I like to think I know my stuff. I'm more tech savy then most. However Mark forgot to provide me with a W98 product key. I think he did and its  on the inside of the case or in the read me files. Somewhere.  Mark also provided me with decent web hosting and set me up with a website but this is where my tech saveyness breaks down. I was lost. I went from CMS to CMS until I found Geeklog. One of the support people there Markus went out of his way to help me with the website. I lost intrest in the website since I had no idea what I was doing, so I went to Blogger. That worked fine for about a year. Then Markus showed up and worked with me  on the website providing me with new skills. We struck an online relationship and he mentioned he could provide cheaper web hosting then I could get localy and better service. Jan 2007 I did something totaly uncharacteristic of me. I went and sent a years worth of service and the domain name to Markus in Germany. A fellow I had never met in person. I took a chance and sent him $100 converted to 50 Euros. Markus set me up and still works with me. Now I wouldn't recomend anyone to go out and do what I did. but in this case I had good vibrations about Markus and he came with recomendations from the Geeklog support comunity.

Anyway, more on this adventure of mine later after Raw tonight.

e. Jim
