What happened tonight!

just in the apartment 15 minutes ago. It’s very muggy out there. I had a pretty good night. I ended up with $630 and 2 $25 credit cards. Jeff brought in The Matrix for the first half. The bank report wasn’t posted. Rats. The first half I ended up with $425 and a couple of credit cards. Jeff went on an errand for me over to Tim’s at break so I could try out their lemon filled donut. Not bad. It’s like eating a lemon meringue pie. The donut version. I talked to Anne for a bit. I did some reading of Spin in the 2nd half and ended up with a pretty good total of $205 for the 2nd half. Top total. I watched some of the Matrix movie and had a nice Tim’s donut. I called Fs to see if they had any KMV switches. They do for $70. I read about 10 pages of Spin and did a bit of work, walked around talking to JT and got my cheaque, $171. I got a $10 bonus from last week somehow as well. All in all it was a pretty good night. I rode in alone (just the way I like it) and read a bit on the train and got a call from Anne as the bus was just approaching the corner up here and talked me inside. She was off shopping at Superstore.

If all goes well, I’ll have my vacation pay next week. The W98 computer is apparently working even though I have yet to set it all up. I’m trying to have both computers share the same internet connection sitting side-by-side. Now if all goes well, I’m next week I’m going to have my vacation pay and a full weeks pay cheaque. I’d say after taxes the Feds will leave e with about $500. Anne gets $150 out of that so I should be left with $450. Out of that, I’m getting the external hard drive $162. Then the KMV switch-$70. The Dlink router $54 bucks. I don’t think I’ll need the cross over cable as the router comes complete with that. Fs I think will install that on the site $54 along with the 512 Ram for $80 including installation for both items. Total cost to me: $388 plus tax for all 4 pieces of equipment. I should have $62R. The rest I’ll use to buy books. But this won’t be until next weekend when I get my vacation pay. This way I can have my Outlook express back on my W98 machine.
