it took me awhile and a lot of calling around town but I’m back to memory Express. I went to the website and the KVM switches are under accessories. I’m getting a D-link 4 port authority USB KVM switch. No drivers required. Looks like an easy set up. It’s just getting there is the issue. It’s going to the University and catching a #70 Mill woods bus. It’s a long way out but the stores hours are from 10-10pm Mon-Fri. Since I’m off tomorrow, with any luck at all, I’ll be back in time before Wrestling. I can install the switch and have both computers up and running. They’ve got cheaper models there but most are for 2 ports. All I need is for 2 ports but the D link is is $20 more. No big deal. Anne wants to come out with me, so we’ll make a day of it.

The real shocker this afternoon as if last weekends Happy harbor buyinbg out Warp one wasn’t enough, Compusmart is out of business. They’ve been around since the mid 80’s. I recall many times Uve his 2 boys and I running over to the West end location looking around. Uve was the only one that had any money to afford this stuff him being a lawyer and all but he wanted to drag me around anyway. He was a good friend. Not that he’s not still around or anything. Erich must be in his 20’s by now living on his own. But Compusmart West was one of our frequent haunts. Apparently they closed a couple of months ago. I guess they couldn’t compete with Best buy and Future Shop. It’s sad to see them go. But the KVM switches are at Memory express and on our way there or back, I’ll call JT and let him know I won’t be coming in, citing “family problems” as the issue.

Oh and this just in from the folks at SF Signal: Scientology Vs The Network. I got 8 out of 15 questions correct. It's cute.

That’s all for now.
