now I’m having problems with my monitor or W98, which is why I’m back with my Xp system. For some reason W98 isn’t working for me. I fired it up and the monitor went blank on me. I checked the connections, fine. I did an improper shutdown (ips) and reboot. Things were working alright. Scan disk and then blank. Something isn’t working. I fired up my Xp station and got just enough Ram out of it to shut it down and boot it up. So far, no blank monitor. I got a funny feeling I got a virus of same kind on my W98 station. So far the monitor is holding up. The thing is I have all those Mp3’s and F all rewritten on the W98 computer. Which it seems I can’t use. This means that the geeks will be hearing from me. I’m not going to post this until I come home get some sleep and I’ll post it tonight. The important thing is I’m not without a computer for the weekend.

I had Shareaza, which is another p2p site on this pc but Shareaza is crap compared to Ares. I’ve got almost all the music I need on my W98 machine except I need Divx to compress and clean up all the pops and hisses in the tracks. This computer is fine. All it needs is some more Ram. I could install it myself except I don’t have the tools to unlock the case. Also, I don’t know, which type of PC 2700 Ram I’ll need. That’s the problem. If I could #ID that, then fine but I need the tools to get into the computer in the first place.

I left out of here at 4pm and into work feeling tired and lethargic. Nothing 4 hours of sleep won’t cure. Instead I had a 3.5 hour shift ahead of me. I brought a $20 bill with me because I had a hankering to go over to Chapters to complete my book of the week. So we ended up doing WCS and I had a slow start to that. I got a few decent sales and a $200 sale and my mistake was getting it verified because Dawn asked for the credit card. I had already done that but she out of habit asked and compromised the sale for me because she was playing the “confusion card.” So I sent it out anyhow. Rob can pull the recording if he wants to.

Seems this monitor is holding. I went to have a quick shower and returned and it’s still holding out. I definitely have a virus then on the W98 system. I’ve got Norton on this system and I’m considering working on the other system to get the songs and email them over to this system. Then it dawned on me. The reason why I haven’t been hearing from Markus is because he’s emailing me on my Xp system. So I’m going to try and post this even this morning before I go.
