I missed that first bus and decided to walk down to Clairview station insteadat 9am this morning. I walked fast and in a hurry. I got their out of breath and a train pulled in shortly there after. An uneventful trip in until I recognized Lev at Central and we went into Tim’s I got my breakfast sandwich and we walked into the office. He sat with me doing the taps in the corner there where I like to be. I had a slow start to doing “deaf ice” but I did ok. I ended up getting a couple of credit cards. As well. We had about 6 people in our tap section and maybe 15 people there for the front 20. Not very good. I ended up with 2 credit cards and $595. Not bad. I decided that what ever train would come by first, would decide for me either to go home and sleep or go to Chapters to shop for a book. The University train came by and I headed out to Chapters. I made some really good connections as well and shopped around for something good. A few things jumped out at me in the SF section some interesting anthologies a couple of Omnibus but nothing in the fantasy section. They have their own anthologies as well but I narrowed my selection down to the only John Barnes novel there: “Armies of memory.” I picked that up headed out to catch my bus and after a 10 minute wait a nice ride to the University down to the lower concourse and my train arrived after a brief wait. Then off to Carona, Stadium, Anne called and we talked a bit as she was getting us our air talk time at City Center mall. I got in just about 3:30pm. I tried having a nap with little success and I think I got enough.

Anne made me a nice Angus beef burger and fries for super. I’ve got a coffee going and hopefully a nice evening ahead of me. At least the monitor on this Xp is working, for now.

Next week I’ve just got to put some extra hours in and I’ll most likely do them Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We’ve got bills to pay and I things I need.

Kind of a downer at work today. One of the women that works with us, Dawn had her Ipod stolen. Not cool to steel from the people you work with. I felt bad for her. This is the white 80 Gb version. Now I don’t exactly get along with her but still, it’s not cool to steel from your fellow co workers. They put long hours to get their stuff to. I felt bad for her.

About the missing Markus emails? I was right, he responded on this computer not the W98 version and I got a tone of replies from the good folks on the Google analytics forum board over the last 3 weeks this computer had been shut down. I want to get to them.

Saturday was a day getting reacquainted with my Xp system. I wrote Markus several emails about the possibility of getting a new template/theme for my website. I’m looking at one called game server. It has nice black and blue tones in it. All I need is for Markus to get it together and a photo of me I can put up on my site.

what I think could have gone wrong with my W98 computer is the Exile 3 download. The monitor went blank on me for a bit there the last couple of times. I think there’s a conflict between my browser and the game. My browser wasn’t out when Exile 3 was published. All my Xp computer needs is not only a good graphics card but Ram. Also, I’d like to get 2 Xbox’s. One for the front room Xbox elite and one for my computer here. The Xbox 360 is $399 + tax of course. Actually, I’d like to have the Xbox/External Hard drive/modem all side by side where Buddha sits.

I’ve had the monitor up and running all night. So far the monitor (for now) is holding out.  Also I'm having story editor issues with this GL editor. Keeps screwing up on me.
