so, I locked things up here and headed towards the job alone. I met Rob coming off the elevator. We did the “Halloween O’ Rama” HOR campaign. Day #1 last night. I ended up having a slow start but I got a credit card then another one and verifying getting credit cards for other people. I had 2nd from the top total with $610 and $130 of it in credit cards. I had a great night. By 8pm though, I was exhausted. All I wanted from tonight was to go home and watch my Wrestling. Anne called me just around 7:30pm on her way home. They had a slow night too. I was relieved when we got out at 8:55pm. A bit of a wait and the train home with Brent and a couple of the guys and a wait at Clairview on the bus. Anne was watching Canadian Idol and I joined her on the couch for that. One of the few reality based TV shows I can actually sit through. Hot dogs and Mexi fries for lunch I had a headache all through out Raw, downer. I enjoyed Raw. On a scale from 1-10, I’d rate it a 9.
Very good, especially the cliff hanger ending. Very surprising. I took some aspirin and a bit of heat liniment rub for my neck. It feels a bit better.
I did some more work on GA just before I left getting the cast of characters names and the cast finalized. I have 9 characters in this 100k fast paced novel. It’s a father son combo with a romantic love interest with an assortment of bad guys. It’s set in the near future about 200 years from present day earth. It’s in the first person as seen through the eyes of our narrator Ethan McCabe along with his young son Saul coming to terms with their past and their grandfather/bad guy Markus McCabe. I’m going to do more prep work in this book then I did in F. More thematic statements and the story overall will hopefully be a lot tighter.
Anyway, all in all, I had a good evening. We’ll be in bed by our usual time, around 3am. I’ll get about 2.5 hours sleep, awake around 6:30am read for an hour and a half and back to bed.
Until I get the W98 computer up and running, I’ll be working on GA most likely until the end of the year. I want F and GA to be the two novels I’m going to shop around for 2008.
For today, Tuesday will be about what it will be for the rest of the week. Same for next week except I’ll have my lodge meeting. Incidentally this will be the first lodge meeting since my eyes have been fixed up since June 13th. I missed the June meeting. I was there for May though. Now that my vision is restored I can do more lodge work.
That’s all for now,
e. Jim
