Dog days of summer

I got to bed around 12:30am hoping for an early night. I think I dozed off during Old Time Radio. I woke up again to listen to Coast talking about Vampires. A topic that doesn’t do anything for me. I laid in bed for an hour trying to sleep and got up around 2am as Anne was watching a movie. I stayed up doing some memory work on the FC charge. I did this part before but screwed up. Now that I have the book and a chance to redeem myself knowing well in advance that we’re going to have a FC prove up night this fall. So it will give me time to brush up on the memory work. That’s what I was doing before bed.

If that wasn’t enough George’s guest last night was Paul Williams. He shared what his research has uncovered about Al-Qaeda's next terrorist attack on America—Pretty scary stuff. It was on that note I turned the radio off and went to sleep. I’ve got a job to go to today. I should be grateful I have it and I hope nobody gives me flak for missing yesterday. I’ve got shit for unscheduled days off before.

Anyway, I also did some more work on GA. Fleshing out more of the characters. I don’t know if I like the template I’m using scene by scene. I could see it chapter over chapter. I’ve got a long way to go before I write the rough draft though. I work on it each day. Eventually something will come out of it. Other then writing and going to work not much going on around here with it being the dog days of summer and all. I'll still blog daily but my posts will be short, like this.

That's all for now

e. Jim
