Sunday dog days |

I think I wrote a stronger C scene then the one before pulling in 1350 words for the scene. It will probably close out at around 1500 words before the rough draft of it is completed. I’ll finish it up latter today.
My wife made us pirogues and sausages for supper last night and a deli chicken for late lunch. I didn’t really like the chicken too much. It was kind of lame.
I read all of the books in the list above (in my Top 20) or began to and dropped out for one reason or another. My favorite SF book of all time would have to be Sentenced to prism because of the setting and the wonderful way Foster handled a new alien species and how they interacted with the human survivor. For pure sense of wonder "Sentenced to Prism" fulfills this at every turn of the page.
Anne stayed up watching a movie but I went to bed anyway. I don’t recall what time she came in. I woke up again and it was about 8:30am and I needed to do the cbi thing and I went back to bed and slept until about 11:45am just dozing off here and there. I got up an hour later and fixed myself a coffee and fired up the computer, reading until it cycled through Norton and other tasks. GtS was getting good and I read that long after the computer was ready for use.
So here I am. We have a nice looking day out there. Anne is still sleeping and will probably get up in about half an hour fix us our Sunday brunch. It’s a late meal and a chance to take my insulin. Next meal after that is around 9:30 or 10pm.
Other then that I’m going to be working on F this afternoon and evening. Last night I wrote a page for my website; My Top 20 SF/F books of all time. My favorite book of all time would have to be “Sentenced to prism” by Allan Dean Foster. It’s breath taking in every way. The only problem is the way the Science Fiction menu is organized. Markus has it listed like a Blog. I don't want that. I want them listed down as individual pages like the two sub menus under miscleaneous. But those two sub menus were supposed to be under "My philosophy" and not miscelaneous. Miscelaneous is supposed to have things in it like "My music, charities and causes I support When I get something availble. Misclenaous is also to replace Hobbies and stuff. I want menus that connect to websites. For example, I have huge interest in Advanced Squad Leader. ASL. When a visitor scrolls down the menu and clicks on the menu it takes them to that page. For ASL: Multiman publications and so on. For my music, I'm going to have a page of album covers or websites taking visitors to those sites. I have a huge interest in the JFK assasination (not taking sides) and I'd like a link to that topic as well. Same with the AGF message board, which I solicit from time to time. My charities: I "support" the Edmonton Human Society, Habitate for Humanity, Scoliosis of Canada and many other organization, perhaps not in monetary ways but in moral support certainly. This is what the idea of the miscelaneous menu is supposed to do. Also, "For what it's worth", is supposed to be in there as well. But I don't have access to the back end of my CMS where I can do this myself. I don't have the expertiese to do this, which is why I rely on Markus but it is the summer and he's most likely busy. So expect any cahnges to the site to take palce in the weeks ahead. Mainly I want a new theme and the menus cleaned up. I'd do it myself if I knew how. Sorry about the typos.
Anyway that’s all for now
