what a disaster. We went to bed about 3am. I think I had an hour sleep. No cats except I kept on getting up to pee every hour and before long it was time to do the cbi thing. I got up at 7am and decided to work a little more on my story for my September submission. It’s not a bad premise so far. I goes back to bed about 7:30am and the parade of cats again. Then Anne’s alarm clock went off as she wanted to go to the church for bread. Then she goes back to bed and ten minutes later she gets up blaming me for waking her up. So she left on bad words making me feeling bad. I did manage an hour sleep and I noticed she somehow pulled up along side me back to bed. That’s when I developed this headache. I popped a Tylenol 3. I think I slept a couple hours after that. I said to Anne I was sorry (and meant it) about this morning but she said it wasn’t my fault. I slept for about 40 minutes after that. Anne is still sleeping. She can always defer her shifts if she wants to for one day.

So last night I ended up with the top total in the room again. Lev had a look at some of the pay cheaque some of these people are getting. Whipple, was/is getting $14/hr in the business room. Some people that just started are making $10 in the front 20. Will’s most likely making $14. That’s where I need to be making. At least $12. Today some of the owners of Xl are coming by the office. They may be there already but I doubt they will be there for the evening shift. If I had the money to invest I’d invest in Xl. I should talk to Rob and ask how much are shares and how do I go about buying them. I realize through a stock broker but what’s the process?

Anyway that Tylenol seems to be working and so does my first coffee. I’m fired up and ready to go into work for another rip roaring 4 hours. The only thing I don’t like is that Dawn P calling out totals. She’s so bloody slow. I had a train to catch but now because that Diane is there all the time now I’m going to catch the 9:30pm train. It gives me a chance to read.

Last night I got together some more Rss feeds for the Website and posted those icons. I tried to get Feedblitz and Feed burner but I don’t have access to upload HTML to the Template. Markus is the only one that can do that for me and he doesn’t want to answer me these days. I also don’t know if any of these systems work with Geeklog. It doesn’t say as such in their FAQ’s. I think Feed burner would be excellent because it’s a way for subscribers to get my blog posts in their email via an ssl format and via their cell phones. I need to have the code updated to the server side of my CMS but like I said, Markus seems to be not talking to me thee days. The menus aren’t fixed, I can’t get access to them and the theme change hasn’t been implemented yet. I know it must be a lot of work and all to implement the changes. Maybe he’s working at it now in between all the other things he’s got to do. Markus gave me info access to my C panel but that was when this machine crashed on me last October. Speaking about website stuff, I'm getting about 75-80 hits a day. A lot more hits on a CMS then a stand alone Blog service like Blogger. I'm still getting hits for that as well. This month alone, I've gotten over 500 hits. That's pretty good but I'm still averaging 5 returning visitors/day. The cool thing about Feedburner is they've got a handy widget that shows how many subscribers I'd have displayed right there. A good example of this is to look at the Rss feeds under the SF Signal page.  I'm trying to make my Blog more accessible for my readers and services like Bloglines, Feedburner etc are the way to go. i'm not sure I understand all of this though but it's interesting. 

Okay, I got a reply from Adsense last night. I haven’t responded to it yet. I wouldn’t mind keeping my original Adsense account as long as I can somehow reply to the email conformation code. The email said that they can close my original account out and all and that might be a good idea. I’ll be responding to that tonight when I get home from work.
