I decided not to go to the lodge tomorrow night because Anne didn‘t buy a bus pass for herself and even if I did end up going to work tomorrow morning I won’t get home until 2pm at the latest and that won’t give Anne much time to get my lunch ready etc and besides we have that emergent meeting on the 21st to go to and I want to go to that instead.

I felt good going into work Wednesday afternoon. And I had a chat with the new security guard. The guy that took over Ahmed’s position. As I was taking to him Mike steps off the elevator and shakes my hand like I received an award of some kind. Strange. Not that I minded it’ was unexpected. I got in and settled down and had a coffee, We did Canadian Burn Foundation CBF and I had a slow start but I ended up 2nd highest total of the night. Melody got $300 sale but anyone could have got it so that made her top total of the night. Only one of the Big wigs showed up for the evening and that was the new regional manager. I think his name is Steve. I suppose the whole idea of all the others being here was that they are keeping an eye on Rob to see if he can justify taking over Bart’s job and as vacated General manager. That means that someone has to take over Robs position. My guess this will be Mike or Janet. I ended up with $1,060, which is an awesome total. Other then the ticket campaigns we do the charity campaigns 4 times a year. The public doesn’t like it but if we don’t call we don’t eat. We have CDIH, CCSD, BP, CBF, CHF, WCS, ADD, PPA, CRF(new) OC. AES, SM, And add, OTH, HOH, BOB,ASB, BBB, CF, MM. We have 12 charities and 8 ticket campaigns. Even when the economy drops and eventually it will I’ll be all right.

Speaking of the economy and what drives it I’ve been noticing how the price of oil is now at $75US/barrel. This is amazing for this time of the year. If anything the price of oil drops about this time of year and hits bottom around December and climbs up around March. But this is unusual that the cost of oil remained so high and it shows no signs of slowing down and that’s a good thing but I want the satisfaction in knowing that I can go do something else other then Xl. The price of oil as high as it is, is great for our economy. Good for me.

So, today it’s into the job thing at my usual 4pm time and hopefully like last week Will, will have the bank posted and I’ll get my cheaque. Other then that, not much else is going on.

I still have yet to respond to Adsense and I will be doing this latter this week. Maybe Saturday.

The story The Swordsman (TS) is in its early stages of construction but I like what I have so far. With any luck at all I hope to begin writing the story on the weekend and the rough draft completed by the end of the weekend. It’s a science fiction/fantasy type of a story.

I still have my stiff neck for the last three days now. it’s soar and tight. At the moment I’m enjoying a beer and Anne and I are about ready for bed.
