I went into work on my own under a breezy afternoon now we’re doing a new campaign, Canadian Police Association (CPA) At first I thought, oh God this is going to be a real bummer. No tax receipt. I ended up getting $900 by break. I also got $325 in credit cards for a $15 bonus. That’s $45 in bonuses for this week and it’s only Tuesday. I got a call from my wife during the break and I got a $200 sale and another for $125. I was kicking but pulling in $1700 by the end of the shift. The only bummer is Dawn P. She always overlooks me and doesn’t call the tap shooters first just to piss us off. So from now on I’m giving my recap to Will so he can make sure my totals are on the attendance sheets. Dawn didn’t even mark in my bonuses as well much to Wills contention. I despise that woman. So, I ended up handing my recap over to Will instead and I’m doing that from now on. That woman has no people skills what so ever. She’s mad at me because I put a sale through that she got the customer all confused and herself in the process and mad at me because I put the sale through when she hoped I’d stop it. She did this when we were verifying sales. All the customer said at the time was no to the credit card and I said no credit card but she asked anyway. Add to all these reasons are why I’m seriously thinking about quitting Xl.

Firstly at Pizza I can work different hours, have my evenings off and weekends. I can go in and work from 12-5 in the morning and Thursday and Friday 11am-5. I get Friday nights, Saturdays and Sundays off. I get 5 hours/shift and no Diane or someone to bug me on the way home. The thing is they might only start me off at $9/hr but I can make more the 2nd year. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, I work from midnight-5am. That’s when the first train leaves out of Bay station. This will get me 25hrs/week or 50 hours/2 weeks. This would get me about $385/2weeks. I can work some extra hours in there as well if I want. Basically about what I’m getting now and my evenings and weekends off. Also it’s inbound calling. The customer calls me. But it also seems that Pizza has afternoon shifts as well. I like the idea of working from noon until 5pm. I just want out of Xl.

Ok, on that note Anne doesn’t like the idea of me working other times other then the hours we both work and I can see her point. Although I think I would like the afternoon shift. Here’s what’s pissing me off with Xl. Firstly Dawn P. Secondly I’ve got to fight to get my pay cheaque every Friday. Third, this is about as far as I can go with Xl. Reasons enough to go look for other employment.

Still working my way through “Grasp the Stars.” I’m really enjoying this book and I’m about at the half way point of the book right now. I should be done by the end of this month. I hope. I read about 2 hours/day. An hour in the morning and now, an hour from when Anne leaves for work. With any luck at all, I should have it read by the end of the month.

On Coast tonight: Planet X and other items. Jaysen Q Rand was present for the discovery of Quetzalcoatl's tomb in the Yucatan, and has deciphered the pictograms found inside which describe the return of the Red Serpent (Planet-X). Keith Graham was talking about something to listen to on Halloween night, well Art Bell has his annual Ghost to Ghost show on.

We’re getting a nice breeze out there right now but it’s forecast to be about +9C out there today. We’re going to have a nice weekend with Temps around in the 20’s. Should be pretty good.

Speaking about books and all (well book buying) I get $35 from Anne’s reward points that she’s going to get from her job this week. I’m hoping pretty soon. So I can go out and get me a couple of books. I want to get some Fantasy anthologies. I’m really big on fantasy fiction these days but I don’t want to read any Goodkind. Too long and drawn out.
