Ups and downs |

don’t ask me how I got onto this but I got involved into looking for an Edmonton Wargame Group around 10pm. I stumbled upon FalCon and it’s a gaming convention I think they rotates between Edmonton and Calgary. FalCon 2008 is in Calgary. They play a lot of board games and had pictures up. I saw a guy rummaging over ASL mopboards too. I didn’t recognize anyone in the photo’s and then I found out that this was in Calgary. Maybe it’s a Calgary only thing. Then I cam across a message board and someone asked about what is the best store in Edmonton. I came across the Red Claw Mostly table top gaming and supplies located across from Belvedere Station. Then I came across “The Gamers Lair.” This is mostly D&D and Pokymon and card game stuff. Good news is that the store is right across the street but kind of out of my league. Then I came across The War Room but I haven’t found a website for it. It’s over there by the West End IGA. I’ll have to call them at work later this afternoon.
I had a good evening except with a blow up with one of the staff Melody, she even threatened me raising her voice at me when I noticed we were out of numbers. I made a lot of noise about us being out of numbers and I had another $100to go to get to a grand. That’s when Melody told me to “chill out relax.” “Excuse me this is my livelihood here. I got goals to make. You pay my rent and then I’ll chill out” and that‘s when I called her a bitch. She ran me over all upside down and threatened me. I said: “Just bring it.” So that’s when she started just going on and on. I’m tired of people walking al lover me. So Dawn P comes over and acts as an arbitrator forcing me to apologize. I apologized for calling her names but I won’t take back what I meant. Anyway I ended up pulling in $1,550 and 2 credit cards for an extra $10 bucks. The best part is my last call and I got a $25 sale and this guy was an old newspaper man and he recalled Jack Hutchingson and The Columbian Newspaper. Not only that but getting out half an hour early was nice and I got $10 bucks in bonuses for a total of $55 for next week. Anne said I can have that for myself.
Other then that fiasco this evening on the job, I’m ok. Anne got me her reward points and an extra $10 bucks and I’d like to on Saturday after work is to go over to Coles and get a couple of books and a bite to eat. Sounds like a great way to round off a week that has had it’s ups and downs.
Okay, I’ve thought about this for awhile now and I’ve made a conscious decision. I’m going to begin the 2nd rewrite of F. Today. One scene at a time.
Anyway that’s all for now
