I went and brought Anne’s bag along and met her at the train and a nice ride into work. I decided to get a banana Boston cream donut at Tim’s and a medium coffee. I sat out there for a bit and little James White came along and joined me wondering what I’m doing out here and not in the office. It was so nice out there and even though was really breezy I was enjoying the last rays of September. Really tying to avoid Rob but I went in anyway and there was JT and Greg out there in front of the building having a smoke. Will and Donny P came out and so did Rob with Melody. Rob never said anything to me. Everything’s fine. But I gave Will a “story" saying how I ran out of insulin. It Didn’t matter anyway. Again CPA. The first half we had a multi file and I did ok. I had one of the new girls sitting beside me, a little blonde I can’t recall her name. Anne’s phone doesn’t come online until tomorrow so I couldn’t call anyone. Although I want to contact Charles somehow. I’ve been wanting to do that for sometime ever since I got my cell phone in July. I haven’t seen Charles since the year 2000 so I don’t even know if he’s working at the museum anymore. As far as I know he might even be retired. I’ve no other way of getting a hold of him otherwise.

Anyway I asked the Blonde who kind of befriended me if she knew anything about Digital cameras and asked her if she would take some shots of me. “Sure.” So I have these three shots. The one of me sitting down is the one I have for Keith of my neck strap and my Mp3 player and our crappy computers we have in the office at work. That’s Sebver behind me. He’s fasting from Ramadan.

We got out a bit early. I got a $30 credit card and ended up with a respectable $380 total since only the back 4 dialers were doing CPA. The other taps were getting in some nice large totals like $500-even Winston with $800. Good news is were doing CPA I think until Friday. I hope. So I got out of there early and I hustled to catch the early train home to avoid Dianne. So I come down the East escalator at Corona and Damn, she’s there early. I scoot behind her and I didn’t think she saw me. I caught the 3rd car (Oiler game on tonight) and I got the idea to get off at Central and get the next train home and let that one go. Good and bad news about that. Good, it got me some time to read a bit. Bad, Dianne was on her regular train run. Damn. I took the last car. I don’t think she spotted me. Good, near the last leg from Belvedere to I overheard this fellow talk on his cell about his Xbox exploding. He said how it popped just before he got into cracking open Halo 3. So I stood about halfway from Belvedere into Corona near him when he ended the call and I asked him about the Xbox and what he thought about buying the Xbox Elite. Nice enough kind of a young fellow. He said the Xbox Elite isn’t worth the value it’s printed on. I walked with him up to the Superstore back parking lot. My trek home. Then I asked him if he goes to the game store by Boston pizza. “Absolute Power?” I thought it was called “Gamers lair.” Oh. He Didn’t say much more about it other then that. He mentioned about Gamers lair being up there by Pizza 73.

Anyhow I got home and I had a splitting headache. I downloaded the pictures from my camera and went to the “Absolute Games” website to learn more about the store. It’s a store full of monitors for playing video games. It’s a nice set up and they showed a lot of shots of an active gaming community. Very nice. Now I don’t mind video games but I’m looking for something like good old Adventure gaming Supplies back in 1992. What a great store this was. They even had gaming tables in the back to play Steve Jackson’s “Star Fleet Battles,” one of my favorite games of all time. And of course there was an active Advanced Squad Leader gaming community.

ASL is by far my most favorite game of all time. I love it and I wish I could play more of it. I’d like to get in contact with the ASL board wargame community again and that means Charles. Charles was a great phone buddy and I miss him. I think tomorrow on my break I’m going to look him up. I also want to find out what happened with Mary and Richard. He Didn’t know them too much but Laurie most likely though Chris might. I’d also like to know what happened to Ellen. Is Helga still around? I’ve been underground for far to long. I have a cell phone and I may as well take advantage of it.
