I felt pretty good on my way in. No toothache pain. So I had a good first half. I also got JT to correct those extra hours for me. That and the It was in the 2nd half that lack of Tylenol in my system caused my tooth to flare up again. I basically ‘walked the dog’ for the rest of the shift. What I need to do is to get the damn thing pulled before it goes abscessed. This means work a couple of afternoons and that’s what I’ll be doing this week. I’m going to go to the dentist up the street. I deadly I’d like to have it pulled ASAP if I can. I’m looking at next week.
I was so exhausted on my way home I nearly slept on the train the way back and barely didn’t get off before it pulled back the other way.
Anyway the weather was grey all afternoon. Typical Thanksgiving weekend. Now it’s clear and sunny, well twilight. Tomorrow it’s supposed to go as high as +20C but I doubt that. If it stays around +13C until the 20th and +8C or so from now and around the end of the month and -1+ in that area until the first snow around mid to end Nov, we should be looking good. Then we have Dec, Jan, Feb, March and spring is right around the corner.
There is an Oiler PPV game tonight and they play first game on the road Monday, so I’ll be bouncing from Raw to the Oiler game. With the Oiler game I watched Thursday night, CBC has an Oiler game every Saturday night this month. Good stuff. I don’t know if the Oiler’s are going to make the playoffs but anything is possible.
This morning in between feeling better toothache pain episodes, I got an idea for another book idea. This one I’m calling it Sanctuary. I had another idea for a book called Sanctuary but it was more SF related. This is a crossover SF/F related kind of a story. But tonight in between toothache pain episodes I’m going to do what I can with F.
I had a pretty good nap and even though I took some Tylenol and penicillin I’m feeling no pain. I actually even went to work on F and did some more planning for Sanctuary. But I’m going to write that after GA.
I never did get around to have Lev take that photo of me to touch up for my website. That is if Markus can get his act together and upload it for me. Also, I’m thinking about having the menus running along the very top of the page dropping down the orange logo or Blue whenever Markus gets around to it. That way I can insert a add by Google in the center column and still have room enough the front page content. Also, I’d like to have the photo about darker then Lev’s samples but because of my toothache I wasn’t feeling very well.
Next week I get $25, which means I get to place a book order for 4 books. They might be Novembers 4 depending on the ordering delay. Even if they become Novembers book order I still have a lot of retail choices in the way of anthologies and I love reading short fiction.
In support of Oktoberfest and in salute of my friend Markus I’m enjoying a Heineken beer. I prefer Molson Dry but Anne wanted to share one with me.
Well the Oiler’s won last night 4-3. Penner got a goal and so did some of the kids as well. Even the Oil Kings, but the Esks lost 33-8. The Esks are playing just awful. As good as coach Danny Maciocia is or the Esks, if they don’t get into the playoffs this year and I don’t think they will, I think Maciocia’s coaching services with the Eskimos will be coming to an end.
Oh Monday I get an oiler hockey game as they are in Detroit. Right after that is my Monday night Raw. I got a funny feeling that Cena isn't out on an injury but rather out on steroid use rehab. Just like Booker T. Cenea's "injury" apparently is 6 months.
