Yesterday was great |
|
so Anne made me a nice lunch, sandwich and cream of potato soup, my favorite. We went out to the bus stop and waited for the bus. It was a beautiful sunny autumn day about +17C. Other then having not showing up Saturday under my skin, I felt pretty good going in. I got into the office. Will wasn’t around. He showed up latter on. I didn’t get a chance to explain why I wasn’t in on Saturday. Rob never said anything and Will put me on the best source as well. Good thing he did because I had a super evening doing Alberta Easter Seals. I had $1,170 by break. Un heard of in the office. Also I ended up with $320 worth of credit cards for a $20 bonus for next week. I called Anne at the 2nd half and after that I ended up doing $1,335. Melody ended up with a $1,000 sale on Magic and on a credit card yet. Now that was luck. Anyway, I had a good time. We left out of there at 8:50pm and I caught my bus at my regular time and no Diane to bug me, with the promise of a good Monday night Raw ahead of me when I got home, I felt pretty good about myself. I even managed a bit of reading while on the bus as well. When I got home Anne made me a plate of her home made perogies and a chicken breast. I had a great lunch and watched a pretty entertaining episode of Raw. I’d give it an 8.5.
Ok, election results. Stephen Mandel is still the Mayor. Ed Gibbons in my Ward 3 is still the Councilor. All is right in the world. I didn’t vote only because this wasn’t a “real election.” it was mainly to fill 2 vacancies. Normally I do vote in elections all the time but this was an unusual case.
Rob is going to be surprised tomorrow when he sees my total. Will: “He had $1,100 by kick off.” I had a $334 line hour. I’m not saying I’ll be doing that tonight. I got lucky as well. But Monday was a nice day. I even got a couple of scenes done as well so I can’t complain. The only down side of yesterday is that Corona station maintenance crew still hasn’t got their act together and fixed the up escalator. It’s been down now for almost two weeks.
Also when I got in Bud had a nice gift for me. His wife is diabetic as well and handed me a bock of needles. She’s switching to a different gauge. He handed me the box and yes, they are the 6 gauge needles that I take all the time. That was very nice of him. I think it was a full box as well. All in all I’d say I had a pretty good day yesterday. The weather was nice and pleasant. Anyway it’s time to Blog this and get some writing done.
Anyway, that’s all for now.
