Ahh, Wednesday's

Anne left out of here a few minutes before I did just before 4pm and I locked everything up here and headed out for my bus to Clairview station. It was a calm pleasant afternoon going in. The Lrt still had the Up escalator broken, yeeshI got into the office and J had taken my seat. I didn’t put up much of a fight Will decides who sits where. If we were doing big taps amongst a few select people, he would have moved J out of my traditional seat. I was happy where I was anyway. We did CPPA last night. I did really well pulling in $845 and $95 in credit card. No bonuses tonight. I can’t get all of them. Third night in a row over $800. Amazing. I mentioned to Will I’d be off for the Lodge meeting for Thursday night. No problem. I had a great evening and we got out early as we’ll. I called Anne and as I took the empty parking lot out of there I felt happy I had a great night. Everybody’s happy. I was able get into the upper concourse at Corona as Anne had called to answer my last call. She was getting off as well but I heard the Corona Clairview train announcement and I hung up running down the escalator and the train pulled in with 4 cars on the train. Passing by Rexall they had another full parking lot. Last night it was “Velvet Revolver” and not “Gun’s n Roses.” My bad. Most likely tonight they had the “Oil Kings,”

Speaking about Oil, it’s not sitting at $87 + barrel. Wow. For October? Something getting ready to burst. Last night on Coast they were talking about the whole Iran/Iraq thing could explode. Russia could even get involved because they are allied with Iran and China are Allied with Russia. There could be a major confrontation developing. Also, there’s a lot of talk about a North American Union between Canada, America and Mexico. Of course this sort of stuff is only getting talked about on sites like Coast, which doesn‘t surpriseme. I don’t think I’ll ever see it happening. But an escalation over Iran? That’s a distinct possibility. Iran has made Israel it’s sworn enemy and Israel is none to happy about Iran’s President saber rattling over Jewish Holocaust denial and attempting to become a nuclear power on it‘s door step. I believe by Spring there could be all out war. I also believe that Bush will have a third term in office. Times are tough.

Also, closer to home Harper delivered his throne speech yesterday afternoon saying how He’s going to give Canadians tax breaks. Good stuff. Also the official Liberal opposition has said it will accept harpers throne speech because Canadians don’t want to go to the polls in four months. So there’s nothing Bloc or the NDP can do. I’m happy about that. Bloc and NDP were basing their throne speech denial based upon Harpers decision to say No to Kyoto because it would cause to much hardship on Canadians. Canada can not meet Kyoto’s demands. Good for you Steve. And that’s good for Canada’s economy. For at lest another 4 years.

Also I worked on another scene on F as well yesterday afternoon before I left for work. All in all Wednesday was a good day.

As for me, I have today off so I can go to the lodge meeting tonight. I’m calling Neil at 5:20pm to secure my ride to the lodge. I’m going to enjoy the MM degree and the festive board and I’m buying Neil a beer. Although it could be a bit early who knows maybe even my books are in. That’d be great. Also, there’s an Eskimo Football game this weekend and the Oiler’s play in Calgary Saturday night. I hope we go in there and kick some royal butt.

Anne made a great pork chop cupper with her foil backed potatoes. Really nice. Oh at Rexall this evening was Brad Paisley and not the Oil Kings. As for me I have a few hours of writing I want to get into after I blog this and get to work on F.

Anyway, that’s all for now.
