That was Sunday |
|
we were in bed by 3 am and I passed out by 3:15am or so, what with that gravel pill beginning to work in my system. I knew I was going to have a decent sleep. Until I had to get up around 6:15am to do the cbi thing. I tried to get some reading in after that but I was to groggy from the pill. Other then to get up to pee about every couple of hours I had a good 6.5 hours of much needed sleep I didn’t get from Friday night/Saturday morning. I’d say I got a good solid 10 hours of sleep. Up next Anne’s going to make our mid day meal. It’s a late brunch, sausages eggs hash browns. Then after that I get 6 hours to work on my writing.
Speaking of which after midnight this morning I did some more work on F. I ended up completing 2 scenes. Resting at #50/80. I’m going to get back into it after brunch. So, today’s just going to be a short entry.
Anne wants to drag me away to watch that “Casino Royal,” The recent James Bond offering that was released last year in theaters. This is what the 6th actor to play James Bond. My favorite to date was Pierce Bronson. I thought he played the best Bond out of all of them. According to Wikipedia, the whole James Bond movie franchise al 21 films since 1962 earned a whopping $10,947,003,843. That’s $11 Billion! Wow. Roger Moore played the Bond character the longest in 7 films through out the 1980’s. 7 Bond films were made in the 1980’s alone. Pierce Bronson, stared in 4 of them. What a great actor. I haven’t seen the most recent Bond film yet and this is on cable tonight at 11pm. I’m looking forward to it. I don’t know much about Daniel Craig but lets see if he captures my interest.
I’m trying to post this but Markus is doing some work on my Theme. I saw him as Admin, so I don’t think I’m going to get this story Blogged for awhile. That’s ok as long as he can do something about the logo area and improve the logo. I’m going to try and get a photo of me this afternoon I can burn to a disk. I don’t think Lev has a media card center to take on SD media card. Gmail is finicky about attachments and won’t let me provide attachments in this current version.
Before I get my W98 machine back online I need my printer toner refilled. All I do is go to Island Ink drop it off, $50 bucks and 2 days later I can pick it up and install the toner and I’m back in the printing business again. No offence to the great SF I’m currently reading but I’d rather read (on the commute) my own work. I get 10 minutes there and back. Plus I can work at in between calls as well. I’ve never had the printer hooked up to my Xp before.
Casino Royal was on at 9pm instead of 11pm. I really like Daniel Craig in this role. This was a different kind of a James Bond. It was more of an action adventure psychological thriller type of a Bond. On a scale from 1-10 I’d rate this an 8.5.
Anyway that was my Sunday. I might be off for today because Anne needs to go to the Doctor and we only have one bus pas this month.
That’s all for now,
e. Jim
there are lots of references to The Fraser Café in New Westminster. I didn’t know this until this evening but I used to think the Fraser café (now long gone) was named because it was situated close to the Fraser river. Not so. It was named because the café was owned by the Fraser family. I recall having some great meals there 1974. It was an awesome place to eat. I think the last time I ate there was August 1978. Hard to believe that was almost 30 years ago. Actually the Fraser Café was part of the Windsor Hotel. It was addressed at 731 Columbia St. The thing about the old Windsor Hotel is it looks tacky and run down. It has 3 stories and a ground floor Café known as the Fraser Café. No doubt the Fraser Family owned the Windsor as well.|
