That was Monday

Epcor finally brought a back up generator onto the premises and ran an emergency cable up the stairs. They said power should be restored in an hour. About half an hour after that management said power should be on again soon but only partially. It would be enough to provide marginal power for a few days until they replace the cable. They’ve got to build a new trench and rip out the old cable. Full power should be replaced by the end of the week. At least e have hot water even though we can’t use the oven.

I’m trying to impress upon my wife not to leave the computer unattended. She goes off and does this and that and completely ignores the computer is on. This is how the computer crashes. It has a screen saver for about 20 minutes beyond that the screen goes dark, boom-crash. So now she’s all vile and nasty to me because I’m telling her to mind the equipment. The computer crashed twice on me over the last couple of days and a third one might be the last one. Then I’ve got to spend $100 at Fs to recover my hard drive. I swear the first thing I’m getting once I have the chance is a external back up hard drive. So if the computer crashes, I just reformat the hard drive and reload the back up hard drive onto my computer. I should have done this in June when I had the money but bought the router instead. Bad mistake with that.

Ok the hockey game that could have been wasn’t. I was able to watch most of the 2nd period. The Wild scored 3 pp goals in the first period. The Oilers got on the board in the 2nd and shortly after got their 2nd. Rolly played terrible. The officiating atrocious. The Oilers received 10 pp against them. Ok, I know I’m biased but holy geese some of these calls give my head a shake. Granted the Oilers were facing, you guessed it a hot goaltender-again.

I told Anne about my family that they were able to contact me on Facebook. This might be a mistake. I mentioned about how Mike & Doris might come up for a visit. Not just to visit me but because Doris has relatives here. You might meet Ellen again. Yeah, right. Like that’s a real highlight in my life.

Good thing wrestling is on. I need a laugh about something and salvage something from this evening.

just came off watching a really enjoyable episode of Raw. Sad to see The Fabulous Mullah pass away. The WWE did a video tribute to her career. There was even a spot with Vince in there and the midget. Of course Dx opened the show. Hohnshloggle wanted to join Dx and so did The Bogyman and even The Great Kali. It was a pretty good night as the show hailed out from LA. The best was Steve Austin and the beer truck. On a scale from 1-10, I’d rate tonight’s show a 10. I had fun with it. So anyway, that’s been my night off. It’s back to work today.

I missed the oppertunity earlier in my anti Greenpeace sermon that being how Greenpeace and the World Wildlife Fund were responsible for the world wide banning the use of DDT years ago.  DDT was and is still used in some cases to fight malaria but Greenpeace was instramental in having it band. As a result millions of people that could have benifited from the use of DDT died.

Anyway, that’s all for now
